Came for the Singing in the Rain musical during our trip to Manchester and absolutely loved it!!! Stunning show and very quality production. The theatre was built inside the original Royal Exchange Building and the way how it’s structured was really smart and fun.

A present from my son for Singing in the Rain. Issue with seats but quickly sorted and we were sat in our chosen seats. The bar and drinks areas were full. It was too loud for me but my son lent me his noise-cancelling headphones which really helped. The production, the props, the clothes were amazing. The actors were wonderful - such talents, singing, dancing and acting and so special to feel part of it. I was absolutely engrossed. Glad I wasn't on stage level seating as they were intentionally splashed whilst dancing in the rain was happening! Brilliant.

Quirky little theatre in the round. We saw Singing in the Rain which was amazing, with real rain! Excellent performance in a unique venue.

It was our first visit to the beautiful Royal Exchange theatre in Manchester City center last Saturday to watch the Dancing At Lughnasa play, which tells the story of 5 colourful sisters, barely surviving on a farm in 1930's Ireland, and the powerful moment that changes their lives forever. I can't believe we haven't previously been to see a show at this unique multi-storey 7-sided steel & glass theatre-in-the-round module, that sits in the grand hall of a magnificent former Edwardian Cotton Exchange in Manchester. We really enjoyed the play in this stunning theatre and plan to go back soon to see the Singing In The Rain musical. There is plenty of seating & tables around the grand hall outside the theatre module, toilets, bars and a dinning area.

The Royal Exchange Theatre in Manchester is without a doubt the UK's best theatre. It just is, you can't argue with it. They consistently take strides to reimagine iconic stories and create new ones. I've never seen a production here which isn't daring, exciting and incredibly fresh. The building itself is absolutely stunning, perfectly merging the modern and the classic in a manner which feels utterly unique. All the facilities including the cafΓ© and the bars are excellent and reasonably priced.

This is one of those buildings that if walls could speak....The Octagon Theatre in the centre of the inside of the building holds 700 people and was designed like it is for the acoustic sounds.

This place never disappoints. A beautiful building, warm, welcoming and really different in design. Brilliant theatre productions at affordable prices. First class theatre entertainment. The Electric rosary production was outstanding, we laughed and cried, brilliant!!
