“My first time at Everyman and I was blown away by the fantastic customer service. As soon as we arrived we were wonderful greeted and shown a table before we waited for the screen to be open. A lovely guy with a beard and glasses came and sat to take our order - I couldn’t get over how incredibly friendly and polite he was. The service was worth every penny and the food was delicious.”

“I came here for Japan week to see a theatre performance and it was fantastic. HOME is a nice theatre with a cinema as well, staff are friendly inside and the theatre is small but comfortable, good view of the stage.”

“Very, very good venue. The quayside theatre is very small and intimate, but holds a good crowd. We were there to see the "Ideal" stage show (which was absolutely brilliant) and it was a great trip. Two minor issues were that it was unclear when the doors would open, leaving quite a few people like us standing outside in rain and wind, which was not Ideal (see what I did there) Also the toilet roll dispensers are utterly dreadful, where you have to try and pull it out of a very tight opening and it invariably tears close to the holder. You know the ones I'm talking about... The rosé wine is delightful...”

Arrive at least 30 minutes early to enjoy the lobby and grab a drink at the theatre bar. Photography is usually not allowed during shows, so plan to enjoy the performance fully. How to Reach: The Opera House is located on Quay Street, Manchester M3 3HP, near Deansgate. It’s easily accessible by tram (St. Peter’s Square or Deansgate-Castlefield stops), bus, or a 10-minute walk from Manchester Oxford Road Station. There are also several parking options nearby, including Spinningfields Car Park. “Should've known that writing a review 2 days into a 4 day trip, would've come back to bite me on the back side. We stayed Monday to Thursday in November and on the Wednesday, someone knocked and entered my room without consent or without telling me who they were or why they were coming in. After I had shouted at them to get out they shut the door and walked back out of my accessible room. I got to the door and asked them what they wanted, they said they needed to fit something, never told me what though. Then proceeded to ask if I was going out that day to which I replied, im not sure. We proceeded to go out about an hour later and when we have come back the very thing that was broken, non emergency, was fixed. Again no one asked me to enter. No one asked for consent to enter the room id paid £677 for 3 nights. This is not deemed as an emergency because if it was, you have the right to tell me that and ask for my consent to enter. None of this was done. Id went down to reception who agreed it was out of line. I could've been in a wheelchair, In the shower, deaf, naked, anything, none of which was taken into account account. I was told there was no management there at the time and that I should leave me email for a manager to be in contact. That didn't happen for some days so I took to the IHG app which was also useless because a member of management - James- at the Holiday Inn Manchester told me that they dont correspond with one another so whatever they'd offered me in compensation has nothing at all to do with what theyre willing to do, which is nothing. Id suggest if you have any accessible needs, you do NOT book her as if there is any issues, they fail to deal with them, ignore emails and won't accept or compensate for this mistakes Ive left my initial review there so you can see the stark difference between the two in literally 12hrs Fantastic experience at the holiday inn. I brought my client as we were going to look at canal street etc. I had requested that the bed was made up as 2 singles and it wasnt but they quickly got me another bed and made it up for me. We had I think whats called an accessible room, and the room was stunning. Had all the plug sockets you could need along side usb charging ports. Plenty of lights along side a uv light in the bathroom. Spotlessly clean and the beds were comfy and the rooms were warm. They also had a bath along side a shower. Breakfast was amazing”

“Free parking (When you show your cinema ticket to the staff ask for parking validation. They will give you a card. Before you exit the building after your movie ends, go to the parking machine. Type in your car reg and the code, this will validate your parking) Great Cinema. Recliner seats, which are very comfortable. The staff are always welcoming and nice.”

“Really impressed with Cornerstones Guest House. Ahmed was excellent in communicating the keylock code and instructions. We were able to park the car and walk 15 mins to Sale Metrolink tram stop in Sale. The room was perfect for us (dad and lad) with a double and a single bed. A nice window for fresh air and the shower was hot. We stayed Saturday and went to Old Trafford for the Manchester United match on the Sunday. Would recommend.”

“I cannot recommend Stagecoach enough - we had a wonderful experience during the summer holidays where we joined the workshop for Revolting Children from Matilda. I was put at ease straight away when Ceri welcomed us and reassured me the children will have fun and will be well looked after, having never left my children anywhere I was anxious. Once I picked them up my mind was put at rest immediately and our boys wanted to go back the following day and go earlier. The work all of the children produced was to a very high standard and this was all rehearsed in less than a week. Stagecoach workshop had such a positive huge impact on both of my sons to the point where we have now joined up for their next term, we are literally on countdown for when the term starts. We cannot wait for the next production, which will be the Christmas show! Thank you Stagecoach Team ☺️”

“Watched The Lion King at the Palace Theatre and it was absolutely breathtaking. The atmosphere in the theatre itself is grand and historic, with great acoustics and comfortable seating. The performance was world-class, from the costumes and stage design to the music, everything was magical and immersive. Staff were friendly and helpful, and the whole experience felt smooth and well-organised. Truly one of those shows that stays with you long after the curtain falls. Highly recommend both the venue and the production!”

“I was delightfully surprised with this stay. The building looks a little drab outside but inside it was a delight. From the warm and friendly staff, to the welcoming lobby, our room was clean and comfortable. Our bed was big and comfortable, the shower provided good hot water and we loved the twirling water shower head. It couldn't be positioned better, in good reach of restaurants, theatre, shopping and Manchester Arena. Excellent breakfast (just not a fan of the powdery scrambled egg!) All in all, enjoyable stay and we will be back.”

“I had a great stay at the Crowne Plaza Manchester. The rooms were modern, clean, and really comfortable — exactly what you want after a long day. The staff were friendly and welcoming throughout, which made the whole experience even better. Breakfast was absolutely spot on with plenty of choice and everything cooked perfectly. A special mention goes to the reception team, who were extremely helpful and informative. Nothing was too much trouble, and they made check-in and check-out smooth and stress-free.
