“One of the best theatres we've been in. Accessible for all. The show 'The Lion the Witch and The Wardrobe' was absolutely amazing again one of the best shows around. A credit to all the cast and the staff we had a brilliant time. I'm sure we will be visiting again.”
“Excellent venue for watching movies in central Bradford - Very comfortable reclining seats, excellent sound system, ice cream and nibbles at reasonable prices”
“Cinderella.. Brilliant and funny. The Bradford play house is a good. well done everyone that was in the show.”
“Saw your documentary on the Dutch TV last night. I had to see it untill the end. Loved it very much. As an amateur filmer i liked what you are doing. Wish your club was in my neighbourhood (Rotterdam).”
“I had an exceptional experience during my last visit to Odeon Leeds Cinema. From the moment I arrived, I was impressed by the modern and clean facilities, which made me feel comfortable and eager to settle in for a great movie night. The staff were friendly and attentive, ensuring that I had everything I needed and guiding me smoothly through the ticketing process. The cinema itself boasts comfortable, plush seats with ample legroom, creating a cozy environment perfect for enjoying the latest blockbusters. The picture and sound quality were outstanding, delivering an immersive viewing experience that truly brought the film to life. I appreciated the cleanliness of the screens and the well-maintained environment, which enhanced the overall enjoyment. The concession stand offered a good variety of snacks and drinks, with reasonable prices, making it easy to grab a treat without breaking the bank. Overall, my last visit to Odeon Leeds was fantastic. The combination of friendly service, comfortable amenities, and high-quality viewing made it a memorable outing. I would highly recommend Odeon Leeds to anyone looking for a reliable and enjoyable cinema experience. It’s definitely a place I’ll be returning to soon!”
“An excellent place for an improv sessions with many talented people.”
“This is an inviting and relaxed place! Staff were in attendance, there is a bar with reasonably priced beverages and the theatre area offers comfortable seating with good visibility of the stage.”
“Really helpful team providing locations, filming support and liaising with suppliers for film shoots in the district. Also provides film education, events and festival support as part of Bradford UNESCO City of Film.”
“Accidentally booked tickets for the wrong cineworld. Paul and Reece were really nice and didn’t hesitate to change them for me. Good customer service”
“I couldn't recommend this theatre school highly enough. From the initial contact with them, they have been an absolute pleasure. The staff at Basics is professional, kind and super supportive. The performances they produce are outstanding and they truly empower their students to flourish. Thank you Basics for being awesome, can't wait to see what comes next :-) If you are looking for a theatre school for your child, whether they are new to theatre or already experienced, look no further!”
“My first visit, rest of family have been a number of times, and I loved it. The whole place is great, a really nice bar/reception area when you arrive, the food looked and smelled good, although we didn't eat there, and the cinema itself was great. Comfy sofas and chairs rather than cinema seats, loads of leg room(I'm 6'4), so no need to stand up for people to get past. The sound system was excellent and the picture quality and size made the experience really immersive. The best thing though... everyone was there to watch the film (F1), and there was no-one on their phone, scrunching wrappers or generally being annoying.”
“Really nice old fashioned one screen picture house. Very quirky. People should go to keep these places open. Lots of nice pubs and views in Hebden Bridge.”
“A small theatre, offering both new plays and work by established dramatists. We saw an excellent production of Champion by Ishy Din, two months ago. Yesterday, we went to see Josie Lawrence in her one woman, improvised, show. A great evening at the theatre. The theatre is on the quayside, close to plenty of places to eat. Parking at the Quayside multi storey is only five minutes away, and it's free parking after 6pm.”
“Great little cottage for our 1 night stay in Haworth. Communication with host was excellent. Cottage is well equipped. It is a short walk to the town centre and to the main attractions.”
“We just returned from a wonderful lunch and afternoon at Upfront Art Venue. The puppet show was absolutely delightful, and the venue itself is charming and intimate. The staff were incredibly welcoming and generously shared their knowledge of puppetry, which made the experience even more special. It’s truly a hidden gem in the area. The café offers an excellent selection of vegetarian dishes, all equally delicious. Everything looked freshly made, and the service was outstanding. Highly recommended!”
“Love this wee theatre... Always fun and interesting every visit ❤️”
“My daughter has just done her second show at Miss Stacey’s and loved every second of it! She was bursting with excitement and we as parents were so proud seeing our little girl on stage, she was in her element and was lovely to see her so confident, that’s a credit to Miss Stacey’s school of dance where for the last 2 years has developed in confidence and made many lovely friends. She would be there every day if she could and is looking forward to starting cheerleading in September aswel as attending the summer dance camps.Thank you to all the staff and the girls who are there supporting them through :) you’re all amazing!!”
“Lovely Theatre. Full of character and charm. One of Newcastle's treasured buildings. Well worth visiting for a show.”
“We came to The Mechanics on my birthday to see Buble by Candlenight. It was a slick and professional performance which we really enjoyed. The raised seating area gave us a fabulous view and the acoustics were great.”
“Excellent panto again this year. The cast, the set, the story were all excellent. The music was brilliant too - the sweetie song (naming all the different sweets & chocs) and the medley (between spite and cupid) were real highlights. Loved the audience interaction and the jokes. LBT is our favourite venue, its big enough to feel grand and have a great atmosphere but small enough to easily see what's going on and feel intimate. We're so pleased to have this on our doorstep”
“My wife and I went to see a concert at The Grand recently and it was a wonderful experience. The venue is relatively small but has good acoustics making it perfect for a concert. It is very nice inside being really well maintained. The staff were all extremely friendly and helpful. We will definitely be going again.”
“Such an authentic movie night out, including an intermission and ice cream. Comfortable chairs and reasonable legroom.”
“Love the local volunteer run theatre and being a part of it for most of my life has been fantastic. From being in the shows on stage to helping build sets, run backstage or sell sweets front of house there’s something for everyone to do if wanted. Or just come along and enjoy the productions as a member of the public. That’s a very important job too! A wonderfully historic building that holds the community spirit of todmorden at its heart.”
“My 1st visit and couldn't have been happier. Every member of staff exemplary and good selection of beers. I was most pleased with the arrangement made for my accessibility needs.”
“The Halifax Playhouse is a lovely theatre with lots of charm and heritage behind it. The staff are very welcoming and seats are very comfortable. It's also nice visiting a theatre that allows you to get so close to the actors on stage. It's an intimate venue that we can't wait to see more plays at in the future!”
