“Really nice local theatre. Went to see the great gatsby. There was a lot of sickness in the cast and someone stepped up to a main role in 5 hours. If they didnt announce it, you wouldn't have known. Very talented team. The theatre is modest but has everything you need.”
“Really nice recliner seats. Yiu can sit back, put your feet up, and enjoy the movie! Best cinema experience and bargain prices at £6.99.”
“Cracking joint this place let me tell ya pal! Its abit of an all rounder if im honest with ya. Its got a bar/cafe that always seems to be rammed with folk either sampling one of the quads finest or having a natter over a cuppa. Plenty of snack and food options available also. Its next door to the register office and have seen couples married having celebratory pints and also wakes taken place here! Upstairs they have a number of screens showing all kinds of films it really is a unique place. Gotta love the quad, keep up the good work you quadsters!”
“Watched Mine Craft and now Lilo and Stitch (real life) with the kids and loved it! The venue was clean and the staff were friendly. The cinema is huge with plenty to offer. There's a bar which I assume, is open in the evening, again adding to the experience. The seats are comfy and there's a bit of movement on the back suggesting a slight recline. We bring our own drinks and snacks as I simply can't justify the prices they charge at any cinema.”
“Absolutely fantastic evening, we watched Mamma Mia and it was brilliant and everyone was dancing at the very end. The staff were super lovely and will definitely be going again and recommend”
“First class dance tuition to a very high standard”

“Very friendly, great atmosphere”
“A great group to perform on stage with. We will be showing "A Midsummer Night's Dream" at Markeaton Park Craft Village from the 19th to the 22nd July and I am looking forward to being a part of it.”
“Amazing well organised theatre School specialising in all aspects of performing arts. Quality tuition and excellent value for money. My daughters absolutely adore Razz! This makes me a very happy mummy :) Great for budding singers, dancers and actors as well as helping the less confident child come out of their shell. 5 stars for Shanley Booth and her team.”
“My daughter is 9 and has been coming to stagecoach since she started Early Stages when she was 4. She thoroughly enjoys her classes there and has developed a lot of skills. They have some fantastic teachers who really bring the best out of the pupils and they have produced some amazing shows.”
“Loved this place. The owners are so friendly. They've created a really friendly, cozy vibe. The bar area before you go into the cinema is welcoming and offers a huge range of nibbles and sweets to take through with you. The cinema itself has comfy chairs and sofas, and a front room feel - so different from the sterile multiplex cinemas. It's small yet has a wonderful vibe.”
“We had a private event and the team were fabulous from start to finish. Nothing was too much trouble. Everyone commented how amazing both the venue and staff are. Thank you everyone!”
“I recently visited this charming venue in Barton-under-Needwood and had an unforgettable evening. The cinema offered a cozy and intimate setting to watch a movie, enhancing the overall experience. After the film, I indulged in a delightful meal at their café bar. The steak was perfectly cooked, tender, and flavorful, while the fish and chips were crispy and fresh, a true classic done right. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, with excellent service that made the visit even more special. It’s a place I would highly recommend for anyone looking to combine great food with a relaxing cinematic experience. Whether for a casual night out or a special occasion, The Red Carpet Cinema & Café Bar is a hidden gem worth visiting.”
“My order was shipped the same day I placed it. It arrived a couple of days later extremely well packed. The product was also cheaper that some retailers so all in all a very good experience.”
“Very interesting museum! It's close to the center, free admission and is simply unique compared to a lot of other museums I've been to. Visually impressive displays to see. Nice small garden to relax afterwards.”
“Really excellent little theater. Need to work on the air conditioning thought, very hot!”
“Went to the cinema yesterday to watch wicked on leaving was greated by a lovely staff member Evie asked if we enjoyed the film and did we want to have our photo taken. Lovely young lady.”

“My daughter has been going to BTP for a couple of years now and still gets excited every time we drop her off. Her confidence has grown and she has made some great friends. We love the shows and the energy of all the children. They are all so passionate about their dances and it's so lovely seeing lots of smiles! Thank you to Shanley and the team x”
“Amazing dance school, would highly recommend! My daughter has been going for a few years now and she absolutely loves it. The teachers are fantastic and there are lots of opportunities for the children to get involved with performing on stage. Such a friendly group where everyone is made to feel part of a family.”
“Always a big fan of Am Drams, but having now seen the effort they put into 42nd street, changing the floors for the tap dancing, the dancing itself and the fabulous music has made a delightful day out!”
“Good dance studios. Has an excellent adult tap class on a Wednesday night. Taken on by Derby Live there are classes back on.”
“Paul was absolutely brilliant, helping me find the right package for the amount of kids invited to the party. His communication pre party was bang on, he arrived at the agreed time to set up, walked me round to check everything was satisfactory. The quality of items and service was impeccable. We HIGHLY recommend!”
“My experience with Corporate Hire was Brilliant! Staff were very helpful in helping me choose a car (I went for the S Class to wedding) and the driver was on time and very professional, car was immaculate and service was great.”
“We have attended first stage for the past 8 years with our three daughters. During that time we have been made to feel welcome and our daughter’s dancing has drastically improved. All teachers are approachable and care about the children in their care. We cannot recommend First Stage enough.”
“A great community arts centre, which offers something for everyone. Concerts, drama productions, comedy, various classes and exhibitions, there is always something going on. There is a bar and food is sometimes available ( check availability). The Brewhouse is wheelchair accessible and has disabled parking nearby.”
