   This was formerly known as Deda but has now become Chapel Street Arts Centre, home to Derby Live ticket office amongst other things. It presents various live events including gigs for Derby Jazz, and also offers rooms for hire. These range from small meeting rooms to large dance studios, plus a very nice theatre space. The staff are friendly and the building has a good atmosphere with plenty of light. My only criticism of the venue is that it no longer has the excellent cafe that was a feature of Deda!

   Good dance studios. Has an excellent adult tap class on a Wednesday night. Taken on by Derby Live there are classes back on.

   I went to my first dance class, it was extremely welcoming. The instructor explained things very well, adjusted the moves to suit all the different abilities in the class and the studio was lovely and clean. I'm looking forward to attending the next class here

   Clean tidy great menu and helpful people. Dance studio 2 was nice the only downside no air con, windows couldn’t be opened.
