First time visit to the theatre And I will return from start to finish I have been so so impressed. I booked 2 seats to see the Beautifully fantastic Jimmy Nail and I rang to double check re the accessibility of the seats and they were worried that I may struggle so went out of their way to chs ge my seats even though it was a sold out show they rang back to tell me and reasure me that I would be 'looked after' and they were not wrong as a less able walker i need to use my M scooter they let me in first to get seated and at the end of the performance a lovely young man stood and made sure I got out safely and quickly I appreciated all the care help and kindness and made my experience top notch Thankyou!

We have been to see jimmy nail and it is out first time at this hidden gem of a theatre. Acoustics spot on and jay who greeted us was extremely accommodating. Can't recommend enough .

We went to see Bad Lads, which is an extremely harrowing depiction of life in the Medomsley Detention Centre. The 3 actors did a great job, especially the BSL signer/actor. The theatre itself is completely accessible, although I found the tables a bit too close together to place my feet comfortably. I love this little theatre. No steps/lift, all on one level. Cold water to help yourself to. Nice one, Live Theatre!

Such a pretty venue with great atmosphere. I went for the Newcastle jazz festival, and the atmosphere in the undercroft in particular was spot on and really added to the impact of the band. Incredible afternoon!!

A small theatre, offering both new plays and work by established dramatists. We saw an excellent production of Champion by Ishy Din, two months ago. Yesterday, we went to see Josie Lawrence in her one woman, improvised, show. A great evening at the theatre. The theatre is on the quayside, close to plenty of places to eat. Parking at the Quayside multi storey is only five minutes away, and it's free parking after 6pm.

Love it if we Beat Them is their current production and you can't beat a better night out. Excellent acting, script, and production. You need to see this! I hope it transfers to the West End or at the very least, that it is recorded for digital theatre.

The Live Theatre was host to Geordie Lecturer Alex Niven. It's a good place where the action is on your lap. His book was subject to question and answer session with Michael Chaplin no less. The place was packed the q&a was very good. Excellent sound quality for those with hearing aids.

Winters Tails. What fabulous family show, well worth venturing to the quayside to see. The two person show has a story for everyone. Ideal for younger children as not as long as traditional panto. Definitely something for all.

Five friends and I booked the Live Theatre Christmas party buffet and tickets for Wishes on the Wind this week. We had a fabulously enjoyable evening with our own cosy table, party accessories, delicious food and personal service. The shows were captivating, entertaining and high calibre performances - perfect stories for the festive season. Live Theatre is a stylish, sophisticated and relaxing venue and I’d highly recommend a visit for any time of year.
