Great hotel in a great, central location. Staff were excellent, always polite and helpful. Rooms were lovely, very clean. Good choice for breakfast too. If we go back to Manchester, would stay here again.

Location is spot on. Staff are friendly. More expensive than some of the bars near by. Nice, convenient, clean place to stay in Manchester. Just watch out for the 10% service charge that you are not warned about. I only found out because I queried why 2 pints came to an odd number. There was no lime for Corona, and only 2 bags of crisps left. These are only minor things, which have not really affected my stay. I'm sure I will stay here again.

Should've known that writing a review 2 days into a 4 day trip, would've come back to bite me on the back side. We stayed Monday to Thursday in November and on the Wednesday, someone knocked and entered my room without consent or without telling me who they were or why they were coming in. After I had shouted at them to get out they shut the door and walked back out of my accessible room. I got to the door and asked them what they wanted, they said they needed to fit something, never told me what though. Then proceeded to ask if I was going out that day to which I replied, im not sure. We proceeded to go out about an hour later and when we have come back the very thing that was broken, non emergency, was fixed. Again no one asked me to enter. No one asked for consent to enter the room id paid £677 for 3 nights. This is not deemed as an emergency because if it was, you have the right to tell me that and ask for my consent to enter. None of this was done. Id went down to reception who agreed it was out of line. I could've been in a wheelchair, In the shower, deaf, naked, anything, none of which was taken into account account. I was told there was no management there at the time and that I should leave me email for a manager to be in contact. That didn't happen for some days so I took to the IHG app which was also useless because a member of management - James- at the Holiday Inn Manchester told me that they dont correspond with one another so whatever they'd offered me in compensation has nothing at all to do with what theyre willing to do, which is nothing. Id suggest if you have any accessible needs, you do NOT book her as if there is any issues, they fail to deal with them, ignore emails and won't accept or compensate for this mistakes Ive left my initial review there so you can see the stark difference between the two in literally 12hrs Fantastic experience at the holiday inn. I brought my client as we were going to look at canal street etc. I had requested that the bed was made up as 2 singles and it wasnt but they quickly got me another bed and made it up for me. We had I think whats called an accessible room, and the room was stunning. Had all the plug sockets you could need along side usb charging ports. Plenty of lights along side a uv light in the bathroom. Spotlessly clean and the beds were comfy and the rooms were warm. They also had a bath along side a shower. Breakfast was amazing

Yannis checked me in and was amazing. Incredibly polite, friendly, efficient and everything I needed after a long journey. Having stayed at a lot of hotels it is normal for the 'chit chat / check in small talk' but he seemed genuinely interested and took the time to make me feel welcome and settled. The rooms are great and facilities seem wonderful, but I will be coming back purely from my interaction with Yannis

Stayed for a few nights, service from the staff was outstanding, I have very rarely seen such a feindly and dedicated bunch of people. I had a minor heath issue with my wife while staying and the female on duty in the early hours of the morning was outstanding arrange taxi, making sure my wife was OK and supplying advice. This person went out of her way the next day to check up on my wife to ensure she was OK. The young staff working in the dinning area were so helpful and friendly. All staff went out of there way to help and make our stay enjoyable. I would highly recommend this hotel as a 5 star accommodation.

I recently stayed at the Holiday Inn hotel and I must say, it was a truly enjoyable experience. From the moment I arrived, the staff were friendly and welcoming, making me feel right at home. The hotel itself was clean, modern and well-maintained, with a warm and inviting atmosphere that made me feel relaxed and comfortable throughout my stay. The room was spacious and well-appointed, with all the amenities I needed for a comfortable stay. The bed was extremely comfortable, and I had a great night's sleep each night. The bathroom was spotless, and the shower was powerful and invigorating, perfect for starting the day off right. The hotel's location was also a major plus, with easy access to all the local attractions and amenities. The surrounding area was quiet and peaceful, and I felt safe and secure throughout my stay. Overall, I would highly recommend the Holiday Inn hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable, welcoming and enjoyable stay.

Stayed for one night on a weekday. Check in clerk was friendly and efficiently booked me in. Room was comfortable and had all the amenities you would expect. Clean rooms and bathroom. Water in shower was warm and pressure good for a larger H Tel on a busy night. Room was warm and air control worked well. Mini fridge was nice and cold (some things I appreciate but understand some wouldn't!). Restaurant in the evening was a little chaotic. I had asked at the bar if there was waitress service and he said yes. I ordered a drink and sat down. The waitress thought I had already ordered so I wasn't served for quite a while. Breakfast was also a little strange with a sign to say wait at the sign but the concierge was then seating people from the desk to the right. Evening meal was good and enjoyable. The cooked breakfast was a little greasy for my taste but all nicely cooked. Overall a great hotel in a fantastic location near Central Picadilly within easy reach of Chinatown and the Gay Village. Will likely stay again on a work trip.

Lovely, central Manchester hotel. Very clean and comfortable rooms. A special mention to Chloe on reception who was so friendly and helpful regarding parking! Room card operates lift like in America so good security. A great buffet breakfast was had in the morning with something to satisfy everyone. All in all, a great stay!

I stayed here for 1 week for my business trip, and had a great experience! The facility and room is super clean, and the staff are friendly. They serve great breakfast (it was the same menu everyday, I never got tired of it). Just one problem for me was laundry - they have an outsourced laundry pickup service, but it is too expensive. There aren't any coin laundries close by, so I had to hand wash my clothes to get through. Other than that, wonderful experience!
