Please do not book here. The pictures particularly on booking.com do not look anything like the rooms. This can only be described as a doss house. Filthy, dirty and cold. This hotel was reported to booking.com but they declined to do anything. Stay at your peril. The place should be closed down by the health department. Any reviews you see that state this hotel is great are fake and deceptive espececially since the new owners have taken over. My friend left a review and the owners lied on the reviews to suggest the issues had been resolved.

My Review of the Hotel in Sale – Manchester I stayed at a hotel located on 230 Washway Road in Sale, and my experience was excellent. The hotel was clean, well-organized, and very comfortable. The staff were polite, friendly, and always ready to help. The location is great and close to many services, which made my stay even more convenient. Honestly, it’s one of the best hotels I’ve stayed at in Manchester, and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a quiet and clean place in the Sale area.

It was a lovely stay. The area is quiet and close (5-10 minutes walk) to Brooklands tram stop and a few minutes walk from shops and cafes. The area is also safe at night. The hotel owner/manager/staff are extremely friendly and kind and generous. The room and bathroom were clean and comfortable. The shower was good and spacious. The toilet was a little cramped between the wall and the shower but otherwise the bathroom was fine. The room heating worked well. The room was cozy with carpeting and a rug. The mattress was comfortable. The TV was easy to use. There were two comfortable chairs in front of the TV and I had coffee, tea and a kettle in the room. The room wasn’t noisy. The staff are communicative, they answer the phone and message you with instructions about collecting the keys from the lock box and the WiFi etc. The WiFi worked well. The staff can be flexible with checkin times. They are extremely helpful. Overall, I was very happy with the stay, the cleanliness and the service.

Unfortunately I had to cancel my booking and I have had great difficulty in getting refunded even though it was more thwn 48 hours before the check in time. Emails and phone messages were not answered and eventually I had to go thriugh my credit card company to get a refund. Do be aware of this.

Really impressed with Cornerstones Guest House. Ahmed was excellent in communicating the keylock code and instructions. We were able to park the car and walk 15 mins to Sale Metrolink tram stop in Sale. The room was perfect for us (dad and lad) with a double and a single bed. A nice window for fresh air and the shower was hot. We stayed Saturday and went to Old Trafford for the Manchester United match on the Sunday. Would recommend.

Beautiful, quiet place which gives you a very homely feel. Very clean and well maintained. Great service and everyone was very friendly. Not that expensive too. Offers breakfast for 11 pounds. Has a bus stop nearby and the nearest tram station is about 10 mins away by walk. Check in time is 5pm, which is a bit late but otherwise it's a very nice place to stay. Recommended, would visit again

A charming b&b, friendly and welcoming. Lovely and warm despite the cold weather outside! The room was beautifully decorated, clean and comfortable. A short stroll from Brooklands Metrolink stop and an easy 10 min walk into Sale. We look forward to staying again in the future.

Incredible service and location. Host was very friendly and the house was beautiful inside and out. Very conveniently placed near a bus stop and a tram station only an 8 minute walk away. For such a reasonable price as well, would highly recommend!
