Great location just a few minutes walk to the airport. Greeted by a lovely young woman last night on arrival. Unfortunately I didnt get here name as she was very busy amongst checking me in. Nice cosy rooms and comfy beds could just do with some better pillows. But good value overall

The rooms are small but perfectly adequate. The location is great for the airport and it was ideal for us as we had an early morning flight. Check-in and check-out were smooth, and most of the staff were perfectly lovely. However, we did have an issue when ordering a drink at the bar. My husband ordered me an alcohol-free beer. He was told to take it from the fridge himself, which he did, selecting what he believed to be alcohol-free Peroni. Unfortunately, it turned out to be the gluten-free version, and the staff member opened it without checking. I took a sip and realised it was alcoholic. When we took it back to the bar, we were told abruptly that we would need to buy another drink. The alcohol-free options were then pointed out to us, but they were hidden away in the fridge and not clearly labelled. While we accept that some responsibility was ours, the drink was taken and opened by a member of staff, so we would have expected them to share some responsibility too. We were prepared to pay for another drink, but the attitude of the staff member dealing with the situation was disappointing and dismissive, which really let the experience down.

For a budget hotel it is really good. The rooms are not big, but they are well laid out. The ensuite is beautiful. Tbe beds are comfortable. The check in is easy. The staff are all very pleasant. The bar and food are good. I would definitely recommend for an overnight to catch a plane. The hotel is two minutes away from the covered walk to terminal two which is accessed through the Radison. The train Station is also a two minute walk away. Why pay double the price when you can comfortably stay at the Ibis

Checked in at 0100hrs after a long flight, to be greeted by 2 hostile people at the front desk - I had my 13yr old daughter with me. Their tone came across as aggressive when I questioned the fee(s) for parking in the car park. It was explained to me "the hotel rents a space from the airport." This I don't need to know. When I asked, "why nobody had responded to my husband email about parking?" I was met with shrugs . I was then directed to room 36 which was a nice size and very clean and budget. Beds were comfy and the 3 of us slept well. On arrival I asked about having hot food and was directed to Holiday inn across the road as their kitchen was closed but could have sandwiches out the machine - there was none. Breakfast was just continental which I've never had and it was adequate. Paid £138.60 for 2 adults and child plus £25 for 24hr parking (this was cheaper than paying £5 per hr) and never used the full 24hrs. I'm very unhappy at this price, I've paid this amount for more luxurious hotels with parking included , continental alongside hot buffet breakfast. Plus, is only short walk from T2.

I had a great stay at this hotel before my flight from Manchester Airport. It was super convenient, and the room was clean and comfortable. What really made the experience, though, was the excellent service. Faizan, in particular, was fantastic. He handed me my key and was so friendly and approachable, which I really appreciated. As a nervous flyer, his ability to communicate and just talk about things really helped take my mind off my worries and made me feel a lot better about the flight ahead. I highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a convenient and comfortable stay near the airport.

Lovely French person at reception when we checked in. Rooms small but suitable. Beds quite comfy. Need extra or bigger pillows. Very clean. The coffee machine needs better Coffee. Easily a 5 min walk to T2 . Showers clean, room clean.

I stayed for a few hours before my early morning flight the bed was basic soft enough but the pillows are very thin and only one per person in the room on a double bed. The shower was warm but the door hinged at 1/3 position making it hard to get in and our. Check in and out was easy and quick.

If you are flying out of Manchester and are leaving out of Terminal 2, this is the best spot. I like very basic places; no fuss. Reminds me of higher end dorm rooms. The check in process was odd. Never checked my passport which is weird and they don't really have a "check in desk". It's just above the level of a hostel. The room was clean and quiet. It's very bare bones minimal. Do i think it's worth the $119 I paid for one night? Yes, primarily due to the location. The staff was friendly. I like that you need your key card to access the elevator. I also like the energy efficiency. Overall, I'd crash here again.

Flat pillows, difficult to find on foot (they desperately need signage), very nice but inexperienced staff, turns out they do pizza but that wasn’t on the menu. Would’ve been nice to know. Also some odd rumbling sound throughout the night. Large vehicles hitting the rumble strip? Too constant to be air traffic. And also some internal buzzing noises of machinery from within the building. Earplugs needed. Overall, it is very convenient so that’s what you pay for, and breakfast is from 5am which is nice for early fliers.

Just did a test run to find the hotel and whilst it is technically really good and close to the airport train station trying to locate an easy walking route to it is slightly more tricky. Best bet looks to be to use the overhead walkway tube to terminal 2 and walk back on yourself otherwise you have to walk on narrow paths right alongside the roads and cut across a roundabout to reach the hotel entrance area. There are no signs showing its location from the airport station, the holiday inn is adjacent to it and would have the same issues otherwise the location is great and cheaper than the other hotels nearby. It would be a 10 minute easy walk to terminal 1, less than 5 mins to terminal 2 and 15 min to terminal 3
