My new favorite shop!! The cloths are beautiful. The shop is elegant and merchandised to perfection! It’s hard not to want every thing. It’s easy to justify because everything is reasonably priced. The shop keeper is friendly and someone you’d want to be friends with. Can’t recommend this store enough.

BEWARE! NO REFUNDS GIVEN! Last week I bought two dresses and a top and did not have time to try them on at the time. I decided to keep one dress. When I returned the two items I did not want, value £69 in total, and requested a refund, the assistant told me that there was a no refunds policy - that they only give credit notes which I had 4 months to spend! Had I been aware of this I would not have purchased the items without being sure I wanted to keep them. Why was this not made very clear to me - yes there is a note on the counter in big writing - I did not see that; and yes it is on the receipt - too late! you've already paid. As I did not try the items on, why was I not warned by the assistant that no refund would be offered. I have written to the owner, Lizzie, to request a refund as I did not understand this was their policy and she has explained that she will not give me a refund as this is their policy. I do not consider this good or considerate customer service since I clearly did not know that is the policy I expected her to offer me a refund. I note a similar review on this issue two years ago. I will not shop there again - except to spend my £69 which I have no choice in - I would recommend that you are very sure you want the item before you part with your money.
I recently saw a jacket in the window of the Berkhamsted store and purchased it over the phone. I don't live locally so wasn't sure when I'd be in the area again. The jacket was too big when it arrived so I took it back to the store and was told by the shop assistant "we don't do refunds, it's a credit note or nothing", I said this hadn't been explained to me when I purchased it and she said "that's not our fault, you should've asked. No one does refunds now a days"! What a joke - I've never been refused a refund for a returned item. The assistant was extremely rude and when I explained I lived too far to be able to use the credit note (which expires within 4 months) she told me "it wasn't her problem" Don't waste you're money, there are plenty of other lovely boutiques in Berkhamsted.
