   Had a family, all staff were brilliant, bec on the bar is a fantastic host as always. Meal was absolutely beautiful, steaks were cooked to perfection. Beer is fantastic, pub is cosy and warm with the fires on. Garden looks stunning with all the lights on and it being tidied up.

   Very friendly staff, good choice of non alcoholic drinks at sensible prices (too many pubs are charging the same for zero as normal beers - well done for not being greedy!). As my husband doesn't drink for medical reasons we will certainly visit again because of your choice and prices for the zero options. We hadn't intended eating but the sign for curry made my husband's taste buds tingle so we ended up having food which was very enjoyable, freshly cooked, hot and delicious. He had the veggie thai curry and I had the lunchtime fish and chips - both were excellent. I hope you can increase your vegetarian food choice as we'll certainly be back for more! We've already arranged to meet our friends there next week!

   Travelled 2 hours on a campervan trip and stayed over in the carpark of The Old Crown. Luckily we also dropped on whilst they were having a Halloween party. The pub itself was lovely and the staff were all friendly and welcoming. The food was delicious and the whole atmosphere was brilliant. Our daughter loved the Halloween party and we would definitely recommend the pub to others and would return without a doubt.

   Lovely atmosphere, it was lovely being able to take our dog with us and have her in the lounge rather than needing to eat in the bar like other pubs we have looked at. The food was delicious and well presented with lovely friendly staff. We would definitely go back again.

   We went today for a family meal ( 6 people). Our food was very nice. The new owners have only recently took it over and seem to be doing a great job. It has a fantastic outside area so will definitely be back to enjoy that in the nicer weather.

   Went for Sunday lunch. After giving the place a miss for a while after not really enjoying the last one. Wife said they had been taken over , so thought I would give it a try. To be honest, the beef was like leather but I was so hungry I just ate it. Not the girls fault, but chef could do with a shake. Don't think we will be back any time soon

   Booked for Christmas day meal, pre-ordered food, table of 9, when we arrived they didn't have most of what was pre-ordered. What they did have was horrendous, Turkey dinner I wouldn't have given to my dog. The last behind the bar didn't even offer much of an apology as all she kept saying is it wasn't her fault. Ruined my daughter's Christmas day afternoon which should have been a nice family Christmas Dinner.

   Shocking, went for a drink in the bar, took 15 minutes to get served each time we went for a round. Attempted to order a roast dinner at 3pm. But it took that long to get served they weren't taking any more orders even though the kitchen closed at 4:30! It was only for one meal too. To top it off, 10 minutes after I tried to order they took an order for three dinners.
