    Asked for a crispy bacon and egg on toast sandwich and a flat white, what I got was two toast with one piece of bacon and a fried egg on each! Obviously the communication was a problem as they’re not English but I thought my request was simple. The coffee was poor with a tiny bit of froth definitely not a flat white. It cost me £9 for so called bacon and egg sandwich and a coffee.

    What a lovely little gem this is. If you find yourself in Selby definitely go here to eat. The food is cooked fresh and near perfect. I had a full breakfast and cappuccino and there was plenty of it. Definitely going here again.

    Not many good cafes stay open in Selby late afternoon on a Saturday. We thought we may be forced to eat at Costa - until we stumbled on this place. Great food at very reasonable prices in cute surroundings. Plus we got served by the lovely Violet herself!

    Went here today for a drink and sandwich waited half an hour 10 minutes togive us a drink. No sandwich. She was flirting around the regulars don’t go unless you are a regular you won’t get served regulars we’re getting a drink as soon as they walk through the door.
