   What an amazing pub...came again on Monday night and we both love the place.. food looked stunning but we sat and drank by the log fire and had a fantastic night. The bar manager was amazing not only serving ..cleaning...stoking the fire...but also attentive and is an ambassador for this pub and been twice now..played pool and darts before and absolutely love this place which has heart and character and the service was tip top and second to none...thank you for making the night a really good one...the bar manager is just brilliant and she " is the heart and soul " of what we saw... Well done...and the locals there make the pub what it is..can't fault the place...

   We went to the Plough Inn for a change to our normal eatery & we were so glad we did. From the outside it looks quite small & when you walk in you’re still thinking it small, but then you go further in to find a large room to the rear where there’s plenty of tables. The food was fabulous & the service was very friendly & good too, I ask for extra gravy for my dinner & it wasn’t a problem, the same with my dessert as I love to drown mine with plenty of custard (& not extra charge). I was also impressed that they ask about allergens, our daughters need a gluten free diet so this was a big positive to us. Outside they have some lovely pods each with two tables in which they would probably seat 12/14 people (great for the cold weather). We will be treating ourselves again & recommend that if you’re in the area you treat yourself to. Not the cheapest but not overpriced & we think great value.

   We booked a pod for my moms 70th birthday. The pods are lovely but a little restrictive on space, there's not much personal space but ours was full to capacity so if you didn't have maximum numbers it would be better. The food was absolutely fantastic. I've had the fish and chips before and that's nice and generous portions. But I had the shoulder of lamb this time and it was so so delicious, the meat just falls off the bone and there's tons of meat on there . The starters and puddings were lovely too and reasonably priced. The service was fantastic, staff were attentive . The only star taken off the atmosphere was the people from the other pods became a bit rowdy outside of their pod so this impacted us a little bit. Absolutely recommend and will definitely be coming back.

   A decent sized pub with the main bar to the front and various rooms out towards the back. There's a large car park out back when they don't have the marquee up for special events. We had a very nice lunch with generous portions and good beer (Bass and some Tim Taylor). When the marquee is not in use, there is easy access to the pub for wheelchair users. Then that option goes, it is just possible to squeeze a normal size chair through the tight double door at the front, when wheeled backwards.

   We rented the 12 person pod here for a birthday celebration. The pod was brilliant, it had a music system set up that you can sync your phone to. Also has led lights. The staff were all lovely and very helpful. The food was tasty and came out pretty quickly. Overall a great experience.
