We call here quite regularly as we walk our dog , Teddy around the castle. The cafe is a credit to-the staff as they are very welcoming,the latte is one of the best around and the cakes are delicious.
Fantastic customer service and made us feel welcome. A nice hot chocolate, which for me is splendid. Left with a smile. Thanks for the mid-day break

Great service superb coffee as the saying goes the best things in life are worth waiting for....if you want a speedy coffee go the McDonald's. I feel the service is personal to each person no matter what age. I saw one of the staff take the sodden coat off an old lady to dry out while she sipped on her coffee. Which I thought was going above and beyond just serving customers. I will definitely be calling back .
I came here with my partner around lunch time (whilst I was in pain, due to a slipped disc earlier on). This was immediately noticed by the ever attentive staff, who kindly readied a chair for me. Straight away, great hospitality. Furthermore, they make an excellent coffee. They even got my typically unusual request right with no issues whatsoever! (extra wet latte, one shot of vanilla) The bakery selection looked well made too. The millionaires shortbread was a sweet treat, but the best part of all was the speedy service, delivered with a smile. It honestly goes a long way! I highly recommend this little Coffee Shop with a big heart.
Excellent service, which is nice to see, sometimes you go to these places to find the service is lacking, but definitely not here, didn't really have the time to go round the castle grounds but I'll definitely book it in for my next visit, good food and good coffee too, I'd go close to saying one of the best independent coffee shop lattes I've had in a while and to top it off it was quiet so no queueing for me!! 10/10 would fully recommend...
