“Perfect stay. I stayed here on a business trip on my own. Excellent breakfast everyday at 7am. Room clean, smart and comfortable. Wifi good. Lovely old house with original features. Ewa the host very friendly and helpful.”

“Pontefract market used to be quite big. But like everything with on line shopping etc it had got smaller. The inside market is great always brings back memories of when I was a kid. There are lots of new shops in there now, all the people that rent them are always friendly and helpful.”

“I just went in for a bite to eat. Portion sizes for a small meal are incredible value for money. Great flavours too. Staff are polite and friendly. It's such a little gem of Castleford. Especially under it's new management. I recommend the panini and chips.”
