Friendly chilled out pub with plenty of seating in the beer garden to enjoy the sunshine, sports on the TV inside and out, plus regular live music :)
Great local. Staff brilliant. Good banter. Very good cheap food. Beers and spirits too notch. And prices very reasonable. Great music on a weekend.
Kat and her staff are very friendly and go out of their way to help you. I have attended on a Monday evening class for meditation etc for many years in the Lyndon's private function room which is free and cosy. Also attended many of the other functions that are held in the pub. I Always leave feeling content and welcomed as part of the community.
Popped in on a Saturday night... Bit ruff n ready, but on the whole a really decent pub. The pizza was a lot bigger than expected and really tasty... Not much choice, but great grub. There was a band on, bit loud but extremely good. Pub was busy and very hot. There is a big beer garden and a separate bar and lounge. Locals were extremely friendly.
Just had my Son and Daughter in Laws Anniversary Party here. Staff are so friendly and helpful which made the whole occasion run smoothly. The Garrison function room holds about 35 and is free. You can also bring your own food. Children have to leave by 9pm so we started at 4.30 and that left us older ones to have a dance after! Will definitely be booking another get together soon …

Drinks and staff were good. Food not so good! Couldn't tell the difference between the mini fish at £6 and chips & the large fish and chips at £8, only £2! My fish was not cod, it was grey & I couldn't cut it with my knife and fork! The other ppl I ate with said their food was ok, but not alot of it.
Not a pub I normally use at it is not really local to me. I was there for a family gathering and found the staff were great and friendly. A little more expensive then other pubs I use but that changes nothing as I received good service and a great attitude.
