   Who closes the upstairs area when we are halfway through the England game?? Went to Yates to watch England v Senegal and was awfully shocked when a young girl came round telling us they were closing the upstairs viewing are in the 70th minute as per the managers request?!! Who on earth thought this was a good idea?? On a Sunday night, where it isn’t very full anyway?? Security came upstairs and dragged us all downstairs and we were forced to stand around and watch the remaining 20 minutes on one of the Tv’s, trying not to block the view of anyone seated (which was virtually impossible). Sound is also way too loud to hear yourself think, even during half time and before kick off. Only positive is that drinks were fairly reasonably priced.

   I wouldn’t normally write reviews but was disappointed at Yates on Sunday. Went there to watch the England game and have a few drinks. About 70 minutes into the game the bar staff told us they were shutting the upstairs area. This was weird as the game was still on and there were quite a few people upstairs as well, who also seemed confused and annoyed at the decision. Shortly after the security was sent up to make people move downstairs, where there was no further seating as it was busy due to the England game. Very strange and disgusting behaviour at a venue I won’t be going back to for sports ever again. I rarely write reviews but thought this was such a terrible decision by the managers. I cannot understand the logic behind this and don’t think it was fair at all.

   Went Christmas shopping on 10th November 22 with my daughter to witness the worst ever treatment of a oap I've ever seen in my life . The lovely couple had course to complain because there meal was cold . The bar manageress was very aggressive towards the lady and refused to replace or refund the foods as it would put stock out. The bar manageress called the security and they spoke to the lovely couple and was very good at there job's to be honest excellent at what they did. The bar manageress then called the police why the security was there no need at all the couple was very charming and only wanted a refund for a meal that could not be eaten. The cost of this stupid action of the bar manageress cost the government a fortune. The company should train staff to deal with issues ie replace or refund it's that easy. In stead shout to a couple in there 70s your banned. The hole issue was a waste of money I think the company should pay for the public service used. The police security could of been needed to deal with a Real issue. I will never use this place again

   Came in to kill sometime and was treated wonderfully by all the staff in particular James K and Maz. They made me feel like a superstar and were extremely professional. The food was fantastic, I had a few light bites and nearly needed rolling out. 10/10 will be back again.

   Good for food and good for drinks at a night out. Had the tree way chicken burger (go double for £2 extra) which is huge and tasty! More then enough for the big eaters. Interior looks okey and the service is quick. You have to order the food at the bar as well tough.

   Was a nice place. Quiet when I was there due to the time of the year. Strange decor, oldy worldy pics on the walls in one bit and modern decor in others. Also not enough comfy seats for my liking. (I added a snapchat filter to the pic I attached)
