How have I not discovered this place before. Definitely going again. Not overcrowded. Good selection of beverages ad good prices
I was there on Friday with my partner and we had an exceptional evening. There was live music and the duo performing was absolutely phenomenal – please bring them back! The atmosphere was great, really good vibes all around. Definitely a place I’d recommend for a special night out. Highly recommended!
A terrible experience. Have never been ordered in my life to “say please” by bar staff when ordering drinks. Turned out he was the owner! Having spent money at this establishment, would never spend again. The owner/management need to be seriously questioned as to what kind of establishment they are running. Fighting broke out in the bar area which is narrow, dark and not designed for trouble. A harrowing experience especially for the female members of our group who felt utterly degraded by owner/management. A place to be avoided. Many good pubs in Shirley. This is by far the worst.
Whilst a very small space, this place was fairly nice. The music was a great mix and the customers were fun and friendly. It's just a shame one member of bar staff clearly did not like to see people enjoying themselves and actually went out of her way to put a stop to any such behaviour. Door staff were polite and courteous, the other two ladies on the bar were lovely, but we left early as the aforementioned member of bar staff just would not tolerate us having any sort of fun! We apologise profusely for daring to smile and laugh in front of this person and will never have the audacity to visit again and offend her with our presence. Luckily this was only our first stop of the night!

Love this place the staff are so friendly and they have a covered outside area where you can vape and watch the football. Love it. Best pub in Shirley
