Just had a brilliant time at breakfast with Santa at the Baldwin. Ri and the team were fantastic and made it a really great experience for the whole family. Definitely booking again for next year.
Outstanding service, couldn't do enough for us. Shannon, Max and Hollie served us and Kayleigh , Josh cooked. The food was perfect. We came for a Christmas meal with 9 of us and we had a great day. Thank you
Stopped here on the way back from a family day out and was unsure not being familiar with the area. Honestly the staff were so welcoming, the atmosphere was really friendly. We were served by Gemma who was great with the children and made them all laugh. Food was great especially for the price we paid (sorry if not correct but I think it was Leon who was the chef) Will definitely stop by again if in the area.
We visited as a semi-large group, including several children, and had a fantastic experience. The atmosphere was welcoming and relaxed, perfect for families and larger gatherings. Our server, Rhionne, was outstanding!! She was very friendly, attentive, and patient with the kids, making sure everyone was happy and well looked after. The food arrived promptly, was delicious, and catered well to a range of tastes. Overall, a great balance of quality food, excellent service, and a warm environment. I have been here loads now and everytime i go i get the best service and the most amazing food. When i usually go i get served by Kayleigh and she is so friendly and caring, she makes sure we are sufficiently looked after and makes sure our food arrives in good time. I always feel so cared for and looked after there. Amazing place highly recommend!
The staff and manager were all really friendly and chatty and the pub was presented really well. Pleasantly surprised by how much I enjoyed my visit! Will definitely go back when I'm in the area.
This place has really changed since I last visited. I saw lots of dirty tables, the floor was really messy, the toilets absolutely stunk and the toilets themselves looked like they hadn't been cleaned in days. Grime and dirt all around the toilets and loo roll on the floor. The people that work there look unhappy, like they don't want to be there themselves! The food is standard pub food which is cheap and tastes OK. We enjoyed what we had. Wouldn't go back anytime soon. The place needs a deep clean.
Went for dinner with a friend. We waited 20minutes for our drinks. When my friend asked where they were the manager made a joke out of it and said oh we don't have what you wanted and i can't refund you now. So she had to pick something else. Then we received our food and my dip was missing so i had to get up and ask for that twice. No apology. Wont be retuning.
Enjoyed our meal chicken was tender. My husband had mixed grill and you get plenty for your money Good choice of cold beverage , sometimes not all coffee or hot chocolate available but tea is ok
This place is within walking distance for me so is my local. Can't fault a thing. Staff are super friendly, chatty and seem like they actually want to be there which is always a nice change from grumpy faces. If something is out of stock or doesn't taste right they absolutely bend over backwards to fix it. It's a chain so the food is of course the same as the others but its great value. Tasty, hot, and always presented nicely. and perfect for soaking up booze. Really great location to meet up with mates in as they have lots of booths but for me its the bar staff that make me go back.
