I visit 'The Cafe' 3-4 times p/week with my 90yr old mother and she really looks forwards to going it's a simple pleasure but the pleasure itself really derives from your staff and I would say the drinks and food come second to the interaction we get from the amazing team there despite being hard working and incredibly busy they manage that skill that only people who know their job inside out can achieve. They are courteous, professional and always spare that few seconds to ask how we are whilst making us feel very welcome all this as well as multi tasking like a fine F1 pit crew, they engage with us but are also monitoring what is going on in the cafe and what needs to be done to keep it running flawlessly... The team of Alex, Sarah,Sammy, Nico, Gina, Patricja, Pam, Kyle,Shannon and there is another young chap I'm going to guess Liam? apologies if that's incorrect but he tends to be on the line in the kitchen one of the unsung heroes and of course Lee The Manager who never seems flustered or at least I've never seen and he always has a smile, a wave or a hello when I spot him.... The staff listed above are all amazing people and over our years coming we have got to know them slightly from that few seconds of interactions they are like a family to us and we look forward to seeing all of them hopefully the feeling is mutual although we are putting them to work on arrival and I feel bad about that as they never stop working BUT me and my mother apreciate the tireless effort and kindness they show to us whilst under the duress of their working day..... You have the hardest working team I've ever seen in a cafe/bistro of this many covers.... my advice treat them well reward their hard work with bonuses and don't let one of these beautiful kind spirited hardworking people ever want or need to leave, as right now its as close to perfection as possible Bravo to them all x

The food is alright but it's overpriced for what you get. I got the normal breakfast and its more like a small. I paid Β£1.20 for plum tomatoes and a single tomato. When I asked about it the staff just agreed it was expensive and that was it. Knives and forks were dirty. Coffee was nice but the staff woman made the executive decision to not give my friend whipped cream just because she had asked for oat milk....very strange. I wouldn't go again really disappointing and too expensive for what it is.

Came for breakfast and ordered sourdough and poached eggs charged and extra 85p to have 1 slice of sourdough cut in half instead of white toast and a extra Β£1.30 each for 1 flat mushroom and ONE yes ONE slice of bacon.this is Absolutely ridiculous pricing to order a healthy option. Total cost Β£7.40 just for the breakfast and a extra Β£3.70 for a latte.will not be returning.cheaper and better quality at costa coffee.

Today decided to come back and brought my mum in, not been in a while seemed to have a face lift in a kind of way was looking for the breakfast Halloumi muffin and was surprised to not see it on the menu but notice that they had the Halloumi Burger. Kyle asked if I was ok did I need any help. I replied no I am good. The meet by lovely smiling Sarah which seems to be a new addition to the team. She was very Friendly I loved her smile it made me and my mum smile. We ordered fish and chips and breakfast brunch. The latte was delicious I loved the love hart that Sarah had put on our drinks showed she cared for us. Now the payment did not go through and Sarah gave me the courtesy of looking away while I entered my card details making sure she has full respect for her customers. I heard Nathan was the chef I think beautiful food. Canβt wait to come back again.

update - Advised that the Cafe was no longer serving food at 13:00 after spending 20 mins in a queue. At first the reason was they are under staffed customer ahead of me asked for a breakfast as he was on his lunch break and couldn't come back. Miraculously they found the staff and produce for one more breakfast. Floor manager advised not her issue as separately staffed even though they all wear the same uniform and the profits end up in the same pot. Not a good experience and not the 1st time this has happened. I was offered a free breakfast for a later date, I refused this and asked they offer support to the cafe instead. Ordered two toastie, the first a cheese and tomato was wet and floppy, the bread was soft the mayonnaise and tomato in the inside looked like kiddie sick, the second a wet and sloppy sausage and onion was no better with so much pre-cooked onion on it we could have rendered the side of a house. What a let down this has been. Never again, use the costa next door.

Not a bad little cafe: makes a change from the usual McDonald's or Gregg's stuff. It's a bit pricey for what it is though and the foods not exactly fantastically well cooked. The girl who served me was nice and friendly.

The rating of 1 star goes to the actual quality of the breakfast and the back breaking graft from the staff members having to run this joke of a show.... Tesco seacroft senior management team should be ashamed of themselves! Even a small child could quickly work out that TWO FTE is NOT enough headcount to run the cafe section, there is feedback over atleast a 3 year period, online telling you this from the customers mouths direct!! Wake up!! The footfall is substantial and the poor people working there...are overrun 24/7, no wonder food wait times are 15-20mins at all times! You cannot just have 1 person running the till, clean up and serving the food alongside 1 person making none stop food - considering you are a specialist in food supply/prep it's mind boggling this continues! In summary, add 1 or 2 additional heads to your cafe or risk burning out your cafe staff until they resign or destroying what has the potential to be a lucrative/profitable little cafe!
