Bad service today. Went in to get my son his first pair of school shoes...he was really excited but the woman (didnt catch her name but dark hair) was really unfriendly, rude and didnt smile through the whole appointment. Was very unhelpful - didnt even try to help in any way, lied to me about the price and when we took them to the till and they came up £13 more expensive, she made out we hadn't had the conversation. She lied to her manager when she asked what was going on and the manager didnt come over to ask me my version of events. Absolutely disgusted at the service and i had to walk out the shop because i was so mad, very stressful when it should have been a nice experience for my little boy. We didnt end up buying the shoes he wanted because the customer service was so bad. Ended up getting some clarks shoes for half the price at whitakers!

I’ve just been in to have my 2 year olds feet measured again. It’s been hit and miss in the past but today Sean was amazing. He couldn’t have done enough, asking if my little girl would be ok with him etc. He really took the time to get her to feel relaxed by engaging with her, playing peekaboo and giving her a foot measure to keep her happy. He made it such a lovely experience and really couldn’t do enough! Thank you Sean!

My mum returned school shoes she bought for my son as unfortunately they really hurt the back of his feet. They had only been tried on at home and were returned withing the specified return period. Male member of staff who I think was the manager was really rude when my mum returned them. Huffed and puffed, took the return personally and was really offended when my mum explained why we were returning them. My mum said that I would come back in and purchase another pair, the manager said "she can't just come back in, she will have to book an appointment". Really rude, awful service and experience, would never shop here again.

Took my 2 year old in for her feet measuring yesterday. I can’t remember the girls name but she had glasses and was quite young. She was wonderful with my squirmy grumpy toddler and when she went to the back, she brought out the boots we looked at and several pairs from last season on sale. She went above and beyond, saving me money and my little girl is made up with her new boots. I was on the fence about having her measured and sticking with Clark’s shoes but this service has definitely made us return customers :)

We booked in for a foot measurement for our children and were served by a lovely lady called Margaret who looked after us, and did as much as she possibly could to help us select the right size and shoe style for our children. She was so polite, great customer service, and managed the social distancing very well indeed. Our initial experience of booking in the appointment was great too, but on arrival at the shop (10-15 mins early for the appt to browse) we were asked to leave by a staff member and told we would not be seen quicker by turning up early. We had simply done all our shopping and took the opportunity to browse the shoes before the measure. Margaret did well to lift the experience after that, so thank you!
