    Come here regularly and usually have a lovely time. However on our recent visit one staff member was rude from the start. We received attitude when asking simple questions about the food and rude comments were made towards our table when the food was brought over etc. Eventually our table was even blocked from ordering anything. We had been sitting quietly not bothering anyone so I really do not understand why this happened. We left feeling like we had been targeted by the staff. My group are always very polite and respectful so I am shocked at the behaviour we received.

    We were quite disappointed with the service during our recent visit. We ordered a vegetarian breakfast and simply asked if we could make a small change before paying. The staff member we spoke to was quite dismissive and unnecessarily rude in their response. We understand that there may be policies in place, but the way it was communicated felt unprofessional. A polite explanation would have been enough there’s no need for rudeness when dealing with customers. To make things worse, we had to clean our own table before sitting down, as it hadn’t been cleared. It looked like they were short-staffed, which didn’t help the overall experience. All in all, the service felt rushed and unfriendly, and we didn’t feel very welcome. Hopefully, staff are reminded that good customer service includes treating people with basic respect.

    I went in here yesterday for breakfast. I got sausage egg muffin. Unlimited coffee. Staff were lovely and friendly. I enjoyed it that much I got another muffin. Each costing less than 3 pounds. Will definitely be back. I totally recco this place

    Once we found it (sat navs fault) we got out the cold into a warm & lively typical "Wethers"! Decently decked out, waited probably 30 seconds before being served which considering it was 5ish on a fri was EXCELLENT! Barman was very knowledgeable about the try before you buy....& patient!! No seats immediately so went for a cigarette but sent bf to scout out seat-didnt wait long! Ordered by app & we were both eating about 10 mins max.....Delicioys as ALWAYS!! Made our impromptu date night perfect; thanks so much & HAVE/WILL recommend!! X

    If you are local to Shirley, go here. It's wetherspoons, so you'll get decent food, good beer, and table service via the app. The staff are friendly, you're right next to the shops if you need a break from buying stuff and there's plenty of room. Great open fire in the middle you can sit around too. One of my favourite places to sit and chill out for a bit.

    Wetherspoons is great at value for money. Excellent service of a great choice of real ales and drinks at super prices. The place tends to attract a certain crowd which might put some people off, but it certainly does what it says on the tin.

    I love the pump house good service only problem very small could do with more room it's very popular I see many families come in looking for tables so they can eat and because the tables are not available they go else where so u are losing customers by the numbers but apart from that a brill venue
