I do like a Wetherspoons now and then. I dropped in for a brunch with a friend and found The Elizabeth of York, living up to the famous 'Spoons standard. Cheap/cheerful. The staff were very pleasant and efficient, pointing out where things were as this was my first visit. Food was prompt and condiments were readily available. The pub was fairly busy with a nice mix of people in. It has a nice community feel to it with a busy local noticeboard. There is a handy public car park directly behind and some on street parking in front.

I'm so sorry to give you a bad review but it's not the first time I've got disappointment with this place, today I've been waiting for more than half an hour for food, I ordered the big smoke and they give me a normal double cheese burger and only because I ordered more drinks and I tell him, nothing wrong with the servers, another times for breakfast they messed up the orders, I love JD wetherspoons, but not this one, the best in Birmingham in my opinion are: The navigation Inn, The black horse, and all the rest in the city centre

Unfortunately very few beers available on the Thursday night we called in to rate the beers. Staff coped well and a nice time was had by all once the byatts blonde came on tap...

Spoilt for choice with the 3 guest ales on today - they’re all Pale Ales ideal for drinking in current ☀️ weather. Everything you expect from a Spoons - cheap prices & toilets upstairs.

Not bad for a Wetherspoon, I had probably the best Spoons Mixed Grill I've ever had, it's a pity they're taking it off the menu

Great place for cheap beers, large cocktails and sticky carpets. A good place for a laugh or an argument. Comfy couches bring friends... make friends... drink beer.

Loved it, we had a nice lunch me and my toddlers and they have a free space. Its a friendly environment and we had nice time and a tasty beer.

I'm not really a public house person and had never been in a Wetherspoons before. Very clean, quick no-fuss service. No rowdiness when I was there. I'm no drinker but when I purchased drinks for others, I was surprised at how cheap they were. You know that old joke from Hitchhiker's Guide To The Galaxy: "What ? Keep the Change ? From a fiver, sir ?" - well you could make that work here. In-app, bar, and at-table service all quick and easy.

We were served some wine that had gone off and was undrinkable. My partner took it back to the bar and they said, "our wine is always like that". They wouldn't change it or refund. He ended up buying me a different drink. I would have been ill if I'd had it. Terrible customer service.

Customer service is too good for a weather spoons, they have the whole spoons menu, sometimes the porridge is either literally water or a sludge but everything else is great. The vibe is a lot more over 60 than the rest of Moseley yet still accommodating, The rule abiding workaholic staff being much stricter on for example the covid 6 per table etc than anywhere reasonably should be .
