   I had a great experience today, while shopping with my son. The reason is because we were helped by Tasnim, she was genuinely interested and supportive, offering the correct advice and we bought a shirt and a jacket. She also helped us in getting the trousers that were in stock at another store. Truly impressed, it's so refreshing to meet someone that could offer such good service!

   River Island has good quality clothes at a reasonable price, so people probably wondering why the one in wandsworth shopping center is always empty. well on the mens section second floor is the answer, worst costomer service I ever experience. I was looking some clothes and trying some of them and a woman who was there working in the morning on Tuesday December 6th 2022 was around asking if i need it any help, when i was ready for her to help me with some sizes she was rude and very unhelpfull and on top of that she was ignoring me asking me the same question 3 times because she was not listening to me and at one point she cut our conversation to speak with another customer that ask her also a question and then I jump at that moment because that was unacceptable. she was deniying and trying to excuse herself and even his collegue at the till, that he was very nice and polite, told her that what she did was out of order, I was very ungry but i let them know in a very polite maner what I though about what just happen and I was a regular shopper over there but not any more, her collegue he did apologise on behalf of that woman because she did not, but was already to late, they lost a costomer and I will make sure that this is out there so someone in charge can do somthing about it or that store will end up clossing down in not time, I mean is already empty every day.

   Some good Black Friday sales but very let down by the customer service. The floor assistant for mens on the top floor had a very bad attitude - insisting to help claiming I and another customer would be ruining the display. This led to a minor altercation with the other customer who left the store because of it. I then tried on a few pairs of trousers in the changing room. None of them fit unfortunately and the customer service assistant seemed visibly negative when I told her I wouldn’t be buying anything - as if it would be a huge chore to fold the clothes and put them back. Not the attitude I’d expect from a brand like River Island.

   The shop wasn’t closed for another 10 minutes yet I’m being told to hurry up by a staff member. I over heard another customer being told to decide quickly what they wanted and being rushed by the woman on the till.
