Me and my partner are currently trying to visit every pub in Birmingham. To date (and we've done more than half of brum) this was the worst experience. Felt like it was going to kick off at any moment. One guy in there was clearly looking for a fight. We downed our drinks and pretty much ran before we were started on.
My family used this pub in the 80s and early 90s. When Pat Kelly was boss. Old drunk Maureen and the rest of the Irish families used to go. For a good fight usually lol. My step dad Chris O’Brien was a regular bar proper upper. Won’t say too much about that family lol but yeh. Good pub at one time. Dunno about now
Great little bar with friendly staff and customers, will definitely be back for more karaoke

Seems a really friendly pub, I asked if it was possible for me to watch the f1 and she was more than happy to put it on for me, so I ordered my pint and went to sit to have a cigarette outside before it started. But unfortunately there was a young lad on a moped showing off with wheely tricks continuously past the pub. After witnessing my sister passing on her bike I had to leave my pint and pub. I would visit again but I'd be wary of what's going on around. Totally not the pubs fault, but I'd wary of the Estate.
Lovely down to earth local pub. Staff are friendly and helpful.. customers are local and friendly... Always a nice evening at a lively, pleasant public house with a variety of people who drink there !
