   I last visited here in 1984; completely different dynamics. I enjoyed a good quality John Smiths Nitter and dry toasted peanuts for £4.20. I was told Fridays are worth a look. I'll ho and edit.

   What a gem the new managers are so helpful and friendly nothing is too much trouble. The pub has been done up and money spent can see a difference. Staff friendly. Clean and lovely drinks at good prices

   Popped in here for a quick drink on my way home, there was a reasonable selection of draught beer and cider at competitive prices. It's a traditional local pub, no frills, clean but dated. Staff were friendly and attentive, big screen football kept me entertained.
