I had a wonderful time at Hobbs Wimbledon Village with excellent service. However, a dress I wanted was only available at this concession in Elys. There were two women. One was pleasant and the other was rude and condescending. She wouldn't accept my husband's blue light code and insinuated that I was making it up or trying it on. This is what it's like shopping whilst Black. I spent nearly £300..Perhaps she didn't work for Hobbs as there were lots of concessions. I'm not sure. An hour or so later, I returned with my husband and his card and she only took 10% off when it should have been 15%. I hated being treated so badly. Most of my work clothes are from Hobbs. I've spent thousands there and I'm treated well in other branches. I think I'll go to the village branch in future. It's better service with excellent and diverse staff. Never again.
