   A very similar theme to other reviews…the rudest and least helpful “sales” staff imaginable, and to cap it off, I walked over today (begrudgingly), arriving at 4:40 pm to see if I could find a pair of shoes last minute, only to be told they were closed. Their official closing time is 5 pm…. So, not only are these women incapable of providing the service they are employed to, they are also apparently quite work shy! Truly shocking for a store that otherwise has so much potential. These women clearly do this as a hobby as opposed to taking their jobs remotely seriously, and it really shows

   some really cute and fun clothes, not just the kind of vintage where you’re debating with yourself if it’s ugly in a chic way or chic in an ugly way. the price range matches the general affluence of the area. however, as all other reviews state, there’s a rude rat-faced lady who quite literally snatched items out of my hands ? granted, they were closing soon, but i was in the downstairs area about to go up to the till to pay? clearly something in her life is going wrong, if the awful hair is anything to go by …shame, because there was a very cute sailor style top i quite liked. other younger blonde (?) assistant was much nicer, but generally just a bit unbelievable as far as service goes x

   If only I had read the reviews before visiting this shop! I left shaken and appalled at my experience during which I was personally insulted. Behaviour superior, accusatory, downright rude, defensive and devoid of warmth or pleasantries of any kind - below zero customer service. I have never experienced anything as shocking in a retail setting before. I later laughed about her repellant attiitude to clothes from "The High Street" given what she was wearing! Two things I did realise - this person would never have spoken to my daughter in this manner (clearly I am of the wrong demographic) AND I suspect she does not give a jot about reviews as she feels above them all. If this is an example of how not to a run a business then I don't know what is.

   The rudest possible staff ever. The older lady processed to continue cleaning before letting my mother and I in and the other sales assistant was sat at the back of the store eating her lunch. The clothes are hideously overpriced and mostly very worn. I tried on a couple of jumpers and a coat. The coat was very worn and when I inquired about a price reduction I was rudely told these items are fixed prices on behalf of clients. I left the knitwear neatly in the fitting room and when returning upstairs the lady rudely told me off for leaving the item down there despite her job being an assistant, not mine…this isn’t my first bad experience with Deuxieme. All the staff are rude and snobby- I never understand why when they’re the shop assistants. I won’t be returning and urge others to steer clear as well. There are plenty of better vintage style shops with more welcoming and polite staff.

   (11/08/2022) Just came in to do shopping and was told “well done, you can read” when I inquired about the signs on the door. Possibly the rudest thing I have ever heard come out from personnel’s mouth in my lifetime in the first 5 seconds of our interaction. To the owner - please vet the people you are hiring. Never coming to this store again.

   An absolute gem of a shop. This is my go-to for special occasion outfits but I’ve also got lucky and found some really good value pieces from well loved labels. Their Instagram is a brilliant for checking out what they have in store. Highly recommend for anyone who loves one-off pieces or pre-loved fashion!

   I find this shops normally helpful and spent a small fortune in the past along with selling goods. The staff were nice mainly. I called Saturday and spoke to a shop assistant asking a general query about goods I left in last year. I give the docket/ invoice number and as it was not clearly written she kindly said she would look into it. I took pains to explain that I understand this is my problem but just needed to know what happened as I could not find the clothes. . The phone line was not good but she explained she would ring me back, I appreciate shops get busy therefore I called her back. I was told the manager would call me Monday when they look into the books from last year. I thanked her kindly and a few minutes later I called back to say that I appreciated her help and sorry as line was bad and my hearing is not great, unfortunately she was not available but I left the message with the person who answered the phone. I was told the message would be passed on. I was anxious about my goods and knew this came across on the phone and I did not want the shop assistant to feel responsible. My behavior was meet with a distressing phone call this morning... When I answered the phone this morning from Lauren I got accused of altercation with her staff. I explained the above and reassured her that I called back on Saturday minutes after my first phone call to explain I was anxious and perhaps assertive and to thank the girl. I understand different tones and accents can get misconstrued in this way. In a nice person who would hate to upset anyone hence my upset with lauren this morning. She was more interested in accusing me than listening to what I had to say. Again Lauren accused me of rudeness and altercation towards her.. I had to explain my hearing is not good and it’s how I talk.... I will be taking this further as harassment from a show manager is not something I will tolerate .

   Very nice area, the shop is on the main road so can spot easily. Parking can be a little difficult so if your driving best to go at quieter times. The store was nice and had a nice selection of goods on display. Nice feel to the store. However, when I walked in i wasnt greeted or approached by any staff so left empty handed.
