Lovely atmosphere, my server James was great smiles all around and made sure everything came on time and together. The food was delicious and one of the best roasts I’ve had in Birmingham recently! Will be back soon! Thanks for a great Sunday lunch!

Fantastic roast on the sun trap roof terrace. Cocktails 241 on Sundays and they're really good too. Great service as always and really reasonably priced for the quality.

Popped in for a couple of pints, there was a nice selection of beers and a very impressive selection of soft drinks on draught. Barman was sound, friendly service. Can't comment on the food as I didn't eat here. Was told of the happy hour with 2 for 1 on cocktails but as I was with my kid, I declined it this time! Sat on the rooftop terrace which was a lovely setting to have a drink in. This was the first pub I ever had a drink in, back in 1997. It's definitely changed a lot for the better since then, a reflection of how the surrounding area has also become something different to back then.

What a meal! Simply stunning food. The Church should be sold out every day such is the quality of the food here, I can't believe it wasn't busier. Everything we had was superb, but the beef Sunday roast was one of the best I've had in a restaurant in a long time. We were very greedy and shared three starters too, which were all delicious but probably a bit too much food in total for just the two of us. Nevermind, nothing went to waste! My only criticism was the toasted sourdough was a bit crispy, and I'd have loved the scotch egg to have a runny yolk. But these are minor points in an otherwise perfect meal with faultless service from the great staff.

Food tasted very good, would have loved some extra roast potatoes. Minor improvement I would suggest is tables need candles in my opinion.

Excellent Sunday lunch in a beautiful old pub. Dining room is found at the back. We had the pork belly and beef both were beautifully cooked and melt in the mouth. All roasts include Cauliflower cheese and veg. Our selection included kale, rainbow chard, leeks and beans this was in addition to the parsnip, carrot and potato on the main plate. The apple and berry crumble was full of flavour and the creme anglaise provided a perfect addition. Very reasonably priced given the quality of the food and the excellent service.

Fantastic food and atmosphere, probably one of the best value for money roasts in the JQ. Service was a little hit-and-miss, but as the Tiger Bites Pig/Tierra/Trentina team have only recently taken over, it will definitely improve!

Recently opened again under new management & it's back to being a great little gem in the jewellery quarter. Great choice of beers, wines, spirits & select cocktails. Roof terrace is fab. Tried the Sunday lunch at last visit & it was so good. Obviously well thought out, as they use good fresh vegetables including rainbow carrots, beetroot & lovely roast potatoes & cauliflower cheese. Portions were very generous & we loved the mini jug of gravy each. Chilled place, great staff, a must go to.

I hadn't been here before but my mate fancied a beer on the rooftop terrace so he could enjoy a smoke. Good beer, good crowd, good service.
