Friendly and attentive staff. Sitting inside was very cosy and made you feel relaxed. Looking out the window you have the canal and barges to look at. There are lots of different drink options from soft drinks, beers on tap and even cocktails. Its well worth a visit if you are in the area.

The veg sandwich was outstanding fresh, flavorful, and crafted with the finesse of a 4-star luxury hotel chef. Every ingredient and dressing showed true skill and passion. Despite a slight delay, the chef personally apologized with genuine humility and warmth. His professionalism and hospitality reflect excellent training and dedication. A perfect blend of taste, service, and heart!

Nice atmosphere, has outdoor seating. Overall, fine depending what you get. My cider was flat and room temperature, but my friend’s pims with lemonade was tasty. Staff was okay. This place wouldn’t be my first choice but neither my last.

Utterly disappointed with the food and service at this place. For someone who lives so close to this bar/restaurant I would not go back for food! The food pictures speak for themselves unfortunately and we had to ask for the bread to be toasted more and they also forgot to give us our breakfast drink included with the meal. Plus side there’s a good selection of alcohol if that’s what you fancy and overall good vibes and atmosphere both inside and out with the canal view.

Cute little pub , allows dogs inside too which is what attracted us to the place. Had a pit stop here from walking the dog along the canals. Staff are super friendly. They even brought our lil pooch a bowel of water. Will defo stop off again on our next walk

Lovely and quirky but severely overpriced! £6.90 for a pint of staropramen may explain why we were the only people in the place. Such a shame as I'm sure it would be bustling with more reasonable prices. Won't return unless this changes sadly

Very nice atmosphere, staff very good and friendly, Dylan is a top waiter! Food very good, would say a little expensive but it's city prices and they put me off going back! Recommended for sure!

Canalside Bar is a trendy hangout spot located by the canal in Birmingham. It offers an extensive range of drinks, including cocktails and craft beers, and a tasty menu of food items. With outdoor seating and stunning canal views, it's the perfect place to unwind and enjoy the city's atmosphere.

The English breakfast was unremarkable. It took 25 mins to arrive (even if no-one else ordered food) and it was unevenly warm, since I saw them putting it in the microwave before serving it, which made the scrambled eggs dry but the bacon was still lukewarm. A misleading sign showed the breakfast price with a list of components, including "orange juice" and "tea or coffee", but it turns out it's only one drink so frustratingly I had to pay for the juice separately. The staff was also not particularly attentive and the space inside felt a bit cramped. I think the place is more suited for drinks sitting at one of the outdoor tables near the canal, so probably better to avoid it for food.
