What a good New Year Eve it was , great event, great drinks a load of variety and the bar staff were great as well as all the other staff were great, security were very friendly but strict to which made it a safe environment.
So glad i choose to come here new years eve had a wicked night , ques were a bit long but kinda expected that with how busy it was, my hat goes off to them for managing to keep up.. door staff was friendly as usual strict but fair like always and and the bar staff are lovely great event overall will definitely be going to one of there events again .. defo recommend this bar to my friends

I am disappointed by the service i received at the door. The woman security's behaviour was absolutely shocking! not only did she hurt my hand in the door she made me basically beg to be let in. Never been treated or spoken to like that by security ever. I will be making a formal complaint as I would like this to be escalated to management.
Amazing! Our Photobooth has been booked here a number of times and every time I have had such a great experience from start to finish, from the setting up at the venue, to all the staff. Very friendly and helpful people and such a great venue! Keep up the good work ! from Darrell at Theme Team
I attend this bar regularly, and cannot fault the service or environment here. A very mixed crowd which I really like, and they always host a variety of events here. The staff are always friendly and welcoming and so are the door staff. They always ensure your looked after and Always ensure people get home safe. I have witnessed on many occasions people being alone and the staff here ensure they are put in a taxi or bough inside to make sure they are safe. The drink prices are reasonable and they now do cocktail trees which I absolutely love! I recommend this place to anyone looking for a good night out in Birmingham!
Would not recommend attending this bar! I was quite disappointed by my night here as I was told by friends that this was a good bar to go to for a good night out. Myself and my friends attended the bar on new years eve after having booked a table. When we attended, the door staff (who were friendly enough) told us that it was £10 entry, which seeing as it was NYE, it was understandable. What they neglected to tell us was that none of the bar staff were able to make cocktails. I feel that as a cocktail bar, you can't be charging people to enter your establishment when you can't even provide the main product that you claim to sell. The one woman at the door (I believe she was a manager. She wasn't door staff) came across as quite rude and told our group that we had to spend £150 in our first round to be able to have a table. Seeing as we weren't a particularly big group, I feel this was an unrealistic price to ask, so we declined. Only after we entered, we're we made aware of the unavailability of cocktails, but we're told other drinks were available. We attempted to sit at a table in the completely empty bar, to be immediately be told to we couldn't sit there, and then a VIP sign was rudely placed on the table, like we weren't important. Shortly after this, we decided to leave. We were not impressed with the service or the reception, particularly by the female manager. After reading other comments on here, your responses to any negative comments are very dismissive and unprofessional, which after our evening, reflects a recurring theme at the bar. We had planned to spend our entire night there, but after this experience, I will not be returning and I would not recommend anyone else doing so.

Staff was a bit rude in the beginning, more friendly in the end. It felt like I was the serve4 as I tried to crack some jokes and make the awkwardness go away but it had no affect. The cocktail I ordered which was the watermelon and raspberries one I think was great, then I had the lemon fizz one which was not very good , so I ordered the first one again but got a complete different drink then. However I could taste roughly what it's meant to have in so I didn't say anything. But I was completely different colour so it must have been something else?... My friend ordered some sweet potatoes dries and chicken wings but she said they were pretty cold, kind of felt undercooked and generally unpleasant. So we didn't eat them. I don't know who one person was behind the bar but she looked like she was in her pj's (but in jeans), that looked very off and unprofessional. I hope this place improves, they have lots of potential! It's a shame as I always thought this place will be good until I actually went there... I really don't get this place, I thought they are tapping into the bohemian niche but inside it looks just like any other pub. Not even bar. Pub.
