Was passing through waiting for a train. Lovely atmosphere and great quality Ales. Reasonably priced. Will be finding an excuse to come again!

I merely walked in with my well behaved Jack Russell Terrier on a lead to purchase a drink before sitting in the outside covered area. I was barked at by the barman no dogs allowed, not even to buy your drink. I was on my own and would not leave the dog outside unattended. The attitude of the barman was truly abysmal, this is not a place I would choose to return to with or without my dog.

Came here for a couple of drinks and some food on a Saturday early evening. The Weighbridge is everything you could want from a pub, a lovely garden out the back to enjoy the last of the summer sun, a brilliant selection of drinks inside including 5/6 real ales from local and national breweries, and hearty, well-priced pub grub! Given the location next to the canal and the station, this is well worth a visit for anyone wanting to escape the hustle and bustle of Birmingham!

Real ale pub next to the canal. Large beer garden. Well worth a visit in the summer. 6 real ales on when I visited. Interior also looked very interesting. Would be worth a winter visit.

Stopped by for dinner on a Friday evening. As the weather was warm, we sat outside in the sunshine. I chose the ploughmans and they swapped the meat elements for more cheese, as I don't eat meat. My husband went for the vegetable tart and the pastry was delicious. As the pub is next to the marina we enjoyed a short walk to it afterwards.

Great real ale pub by the canal , I'm sure it would be lovely on a warm summer's evening. We went in February for the Wassail which was great fun & very well attended.

An absolute gem of a place! A "proper" pub with a fantastic selection of real ales, craft beers and spirits. A very warm and welcoming atmosphere in a cozy venue. Great food which is homely and the amazing pork pies and cobs are always a great addition to your pint. Fantastic events, there's always something going on, the twice a year beer festivals are a particular highlight of ours. Big thanks and well done to Chris, Laura and Wendy for what you are doing here, long may it continue!

Fantastic ‘proper’ pub. Food and drinks are great. Family friendly. Stunning In the summer, catch one of the beer festivals and you won’t be disappointed. Inside is pretty small but it’s part of the charm and very friendly, plenty of outdoor seating under cover too. Awesome spot.

Great pub. Good selection of local ales (other pubs should take a leaf out of their book). Came for Sunday lunch after a walk along the canal with my 2 kids. Great roast and they'd kindly kept the veggie option back for my daughter as we'd mentioned she was veggie when booking. Staff all friendly and efficient. 3 very happy customers.
