Didn't like way I got looked at because I'm indian. Felt like I was looked at differently.
One of the last few proper pubs in Britain, people and staff are amazing and super friendly, prices are absolutely amazing and the atmosphere is just beautiful, I felt so welcome here and will definitely be returning, shout out to pardo, love you man
Most people don't believe me when I say I used to be a regular here 15 years ago, and that it served the best Desi mixed grills in the Midlands back then! Thought I'd check it out for old time's sake, now it's back to more of a traditional British pub. The ladies working in there were very friendly and welcoming. The first and second beers I selected weren't on! So I asked which ones were and went with a Madri. The place itself looks like it's had a decent lick of paint outside, but inside the furniture just seemed kind of scattered and could probably do with a bit of a spruce up.
We were here for an after funeral drink and it was ok. The staff were pleasant and the food they provided was good, drinks were good and reasonable and it seemed as if there was a decent atmosphere in the rest of the pub. The room was a little small but as there wasn't many people there it was fine. There is a long passageway connecting all the various rooms of the pub to an outside smoking shelter and the car park which has some quite steep steps to get into the pub. There is also on street parking available which would possibly be better for anyone with mobility problems.
Had the best night ever will be booking my hen night here loved it thankyou so much staff are so lovely and down to earth ❤
Family friendly bar with sports offering a wide range of entertainment from pool bouncy castle in the beer garden disco karaoke on Friday Saturday nights and Sunday evenings regulars and staff are very friendly and welcoming they also offer a beautiful Sunday roast from midday until around 2pm where generally they sell out if you like a good old fashioned pub morales with a upto date decor this is the place for you
Nice games area just but small not enough room to play darts and pool at same time. No music playing
Its too loud a specially on Sundays nights. This place is very noisy for people living around. Should be ok around 11.pm but its not the music is still too loud . People standing outside the pub are very noisy too and do mess on the street. They screem very often too No one has it under control because nobody care. Not great place. Definitely do not recommend this pub. .
