A very warm welcome and delicious home made food. Super simple cafe without all the bells and whistles. Never judge a book by it's cover. Lovely friendly place
Perfect food and perfect service & all for a very reasonable price. I ordered a cold buffet for 8 people for a Sunday birthday party. Sandwiches, mini quiches, mini pork pies and scotch eggs etc and a selection of cakes. They also brought a tray of gluten free food for my son. It was delivered on covered trays to go straight on the table. Highly recommend and will definitely use again. Thank you Maypole Cafe :)
Popped in a couple of days when working on a job nearby. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. Would recommend if you're passing through the area.
Just passing through but what a find beautiful little Maypole cafe, we had 2 salad boxes which were delicious to takeaway and the best homemade Bakewell tart we've ever tasted. Very clean, lovely friendly staff we will be back definite well worth a visit.

The full English breakfast was very enjoyable and very good value. The two ladies working there are friendly and welcoming.
Very poor got the order wrong and the sausage was burnt and greasy and the coffee was meant to be black but they put milk in it and tast like just milk and water with no coffee
Nice little cafe been going there years . owner always polite. they make a lovley hot sandwich. Worth a call in . you can either eat in or take out .it's clean which I'm a stickler for .so if your going through barrick in elmet you fancy a drink and something to eat it's very much worth a call in .
Very good prices. Marvellous sandwiches and good coffee. The staff are always so helpful when I take my mum in who has difficulty walking. Can't wait to be able to go back in.
