   Popped into the pub a few weeks back to enjoy a nice drink. Recently had a fine through the door for £100 parking fine. Clearly the signage isn't great if I and according to reviews other customers had not seen the signage. No one behind the bar said to enter the car reg details and I didn't even see the machine. I paid with for the drink with my credit card so hopefully I can contest the fine. You need better, proper signage!!

   I love the old cross pub full of character of charm such a shame they don’t offer food if they did. I think it would make a very good addition to what they’ve made of this pub.

   Cameras on car park with very poor signage. Received a £60 fine despite the car park being empty. No phone number to contest it but there’s conveniently one to pay the fine. Surely a warning would have sufficed. Better and more clear signage should be installed rather than using it as a money racket

   Seen a few mixed reviews & thought I'd leave my own but not your usual night down the pub as England played in the euros - was our first visit & I liked the place - I'll be back sometime soon as I appreciated the set up & service - the owners really thought about a crowd wanting to watch the footy & the area out front was great - plenty of food options with the van on the car park & takeaways over the road & even a mini bar set up outside - nice pub with people of all ages & no trouble - thanks

   Amazingly busy. Range of drinks offers. Karaoke. Good atmosphere. Went there to play bowls. The green is on the small side and the surrounds quite cramped, but it was a well kept and interesting green to play.

   What a wonderful evening we have had. Called to see if we could overnight stop in the car park with our motor home provided we used the pub and were warmly welcomed. The local people were fantastic and welcoming and we then discovered a crown green bowling club bolted on to the pub. We spent an evening with them watching a league match against the Royal Oak and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Full marks to the Old Cross and their manager. Would fully recommend this place. everyone.
