    If you want to be treated differently because of your skin tone, this is the place to come—especially if you’re brown. Being told the venue was “at full capacity,” only to watch security let a white male walk in, was absolutely disgusting. It’s clear what type of crowd this establishment prefers. The same issue existed under previous management, and it seems nothing has changed. You reap what you sow. To the lady with blonde hair and glasses (possibly the manager), I sincerely hope you feel ashamed standing next to your security staff while supporting this form of discrimination.

    Did not visit for food, only for the evening. Had a great night here with some friends. Music was flowing, people were enjoying themselves. The DJ played some brilliant tunes, which kept us dancing for most of the night. Will definitely visit again and would also recommend.

    Went to go in, was made to feel like a criminal after being searched, I tried to keep the humour but after the gut who searched me asked what was in my back pocket, and I gave them my keys to say it's all I had, he opened a pouch on there, which only exposed gloves... I was made to feel like a criminal before I went in and I understand it with trouble they have had in the past, but how things are now... Even if I was somebody who was gonna cause trouble I'd do it with more than the all of 5 people they have in at the best of times I really can not recommend this place

    Great pub, amazing darts board and pool area at the back, great choice of pints and ales, DJ on a Friday and Saturday. Tv's and slot machines available, lots of seating area.

    Popped in for a drink, liked the vibe of the place. Very friendly, welcoming people working behind the bar, fantastic service and great prices. Beer selection is quite basic from what I could see, but still a nice pint to be had. I felt like staying here a while as I was so comfortable, but unfortunately had errands to run.

    Traditional log fire. Sky and BT sports. 2 pool tables ,2 dart boards and an array of draught pints and spirits. Hospitable staff and a warm welcoming environment

    New ownership more welcome, really nice beers a selection of ales, and lagers and the bonus with the pukka pies. Sky sports and a pool table. Will definitely go back and highly recommend.

    Don't bother, the pub next door was full, this place had 4 people in it and 3 of them were off duty staff! Only 1 handpulled beer, no food and no music. More atmosphere in a British Rail waiting room.

    a great pub, staff are extremely friendly. A kind of place you can instantly feel relaxed, with great food (the Pies are out of this world) and free football on a very large screen.... would recommend to anyone.... service is quick as well, quicker than other pubs near by.
