   Hadn't been for a while so popped in for a drink, passing after work then returned a week or so later with my wife for a bite to eat. Very friendly pub, locals will actually speak to you even though I didn't know them. Staff polite and food was great. Won't leave it so long until next visit.

   What a little gem! We started coming into the pub around August and immediately felt welcome. Without a doubt, this is a community pub where everyone knows one another but welcomes you with open arms when you’re new to the pub. We’ve made so many friends in such a short time. For us, the most appealing aspect of the pub is the management, the customer service and how it’s run. At all times professional but willing to listen to you and have a laugh and joke with the customers. This is how a pub should be run. Food and drink - amazing at all times and great value for money. In a time of uncertainty for the pub trade, customers are choosing wisely where they spend their money. You don’t need to choose wisely here. We cannot recommend enough.

   Do not bring kids, asked to sit, not move from chair and not touch anything. Not allowed to make any noise inside or outside -it’s a pub? Decided to sit outside as being giving vile looks by the staff. Then being stared at horribly by the management in the window upstairs! extremely rude management and staff so we decided to take business elsewhere. The kids are very well behaved as-well so I can’t imagine taking a child who needs any extra support etc.

   Celebrated my son’s christening here a few weeks back. Had such a great day. The staff were all soooo friendly and couldn’t do enough for me. The buffet was amazing and they decorated the pub perfectly. They made our day extra special and could not be more grateful. Highly recommend

   This is a fantastic little pub, food is excellent, we eat there a lot. Staff are lovely and friendly and can’t do enough to help you. It’s is lovely and friendly and has a really good feel and atmosphere about it and I always recommend this pub if someone asks me where is a good place to eat or a good place to hold a function/party. I would definitely highly recommend this one to anyone.

   A fantastic dog friendly pub, all the staff are friendly and welcoming, especially to the pooches who are greeted with kisses, cuddles and dog treats. The food and drink are reasonably priced and delicious. I definitely recommend this pub for dog parents who like to take their pooches with them.
