I had a fantastic experience at Black Sheep Coffee! The team here is always friendly, fast, and genuinely welcoming. Big shout-out to Armem, Elliot, and Rifhat for getting my coffee just right - they were super helpful and made my morning. Great service, great vibes, and of course, great coffee. Highly recommend!
I have been coming to this branch for over three years, mainly because of how welcoming the staff are, and how awesome the menu is! Elliot is genuinely the nicest person. He greets and sends off costumers always with a smile. I had issues with the app and he helped me immensely. Arman is awesome, and hands down the beat barista in Leeds city centre! He always asks if I have any comments about the coffeeshop's facilities and whether I need anything. Their Filter coffe and matcha are my favourite drinks. Oh, and a 20% discount for students!
The atmosphere was cosy, great really when wanting to focus on getting some work done. The acai was a massive let down. I am a loyal customer to this branch but this was a massive disappointment. Blonde white female on shift and she made my bowl. the acai was fully frozen and it was predominantly coconut flakes. barley any fruit or nutella. I work with acai at my own cafe and I would NEVER send out a bowl that looks like this. How on earth are we charging over £9 for this...
I know that this is a chain, but I think that this is my first visit to a Blacksheep coffee shop. Not sure what I think about the screen ordering but seemed efficient although we had a very long wait to actually get our drinks. Drinks came in takeaway cups and were impossibly hot-had to take it with us or I would have missed my train. Cakes and pastries did look tasty. We sat in a quiet area to one side-seems to be popular with people on laptops. Plenty of seating available including high stools and seating upstairs. Decor was interesting; should have had a better look at it all. Clean and tidy but not at the top of coffee shops to revisit. Edit August 2025: we did revisit and enjoyed it a lot more! We sat upstairs which is really lovely with a casual, lounge style vibe.
I enjoyed the macchiato coffee It had an amazing flavour and an amazing blend and the balance between the sweetness and strong I enjoyed it also it was perfect with milk to add rich flavour. Another thing it’s cheaper than Starbucks not only that it was £2.49 for medium how amazing is that. The staff was also friendly and it’s been my second time visiting surely I will visit again. A coffee place that sells thin, crispy and freshly made waffles and nice coffee. Students get 20% off freshly made barista drinks when signed up to the app and link their student email.
Service was absolutely awful. Nothing got ready at the same time it got ready one by one. They also didn’t serve the coffee in cup even though they had a cup they served it on a takeout cup which wasn’t nice of them. The branch in London is way more better then the one in leeds
Black Sheep Coffee? Where were you all my life!? Truly remarkable how long it has taken me to find this little hidden gem! Great level of consistency, reasonable prices, lovely staff & (most importantly) amazing coffee - what more could you want? The best coffee in town! Could not recommend enough - the number one place to get your daily caffeine fix!
Fantastic caramel iced latte! Loved the setup and atmosphere! Would highly recommend to everyone. Will be back
