   If you're looking for fancy décor and tiny portions, you're in the wrong place. But if you're after fantastic, honest-to-goodness food served with a smile, then Laura's Little Café is an absolute gem. This is a proper greasy spoon in the best possible sense. The menu is packed with all the classics you'd hope for, and everything is cooked brilliantly. The breakfasts are hearty, the brews are strong, and you get a satisfying plate of food that doesn't pretend to be anything it's not. What really makes the place special is Laura herself. Her lovely, no-nonsense Northern charm makes you feel welcome from the moment you step through the door. It feels less like a business and more like you've popped into a friend's kitchen for a cuppa. To top it all off, the prices are incredibly reasonable. You get great value for your money, leaving with a full belly and without a dent in your wallet. I can't recommend it enough for a proper, satisfying meal.

   First time here, food was delicious and piping hot. Excellent value for money as well. I liked how they asked how I liked my bacon cooking, nice touch. They also have the delicious hash browns not the mashed potato ones. Lovely. Will return.

   What a hidden little gem of a café. After a couple of hours journey to the area we need some breakfast. A quick google came up with this gem. We arrived before opening time but that was not a problem we were invited in and made a nice cuppa while our breakfast was cooked. Quality and prices are brilliant. If your in the area do yourself and your tummy a favour and pop in for some great food.

   So first off I'll get the one negative out the way - it really is tiny! However, that's it, the food was lovely, the service was great (it wasn't rocket ship fast because it's small) and I couldn't have a single complaint. Really enjoyed myself and apart from changing the car park to a heated tippee... well ok I jest. Would recommend whole heartedly but for large groups if the weather isn't great - get the takeaway option!

   Been to Laura's many times since moving locally. Laura is always friendly happy and welcoming, food is unfaultable! Intact so much so when my family come to visit a visit to Laura is always on the cards.
