Bought one large hot chocolate and a cinnamon swirl. I'm a muslim so its a given I would be limited to what considered halal but for those who're not, I can assure you there's a lot for alcoholic, sparkling beverages, bakery food and some choco sticks to keep you fill while waiting for your flight.
Some selection of basic pastry, No board with available drink menu nor prices. 'Sit in coffee' is served in plastic cup rather than ceramic cup. The picture shows 'double espresso ' which costs £3.55. Lady serving comes across rude and uplesant, calling everyone 'darling'. Caffee was empty, airport was empty, it was 4.30am, i was alone with two little children and thw lady told me off for getting them snacks out of the bag which was a low sugar snak (not available at the sale) and an apple which also was not available.
Had a very nice cup of coffee and a triple chocolate pain au chocolat! Very fast serving and very nice the lady at the desk! Good quiet corner to wait for flight.
Great little spot in LBA behind the assistance meeting point. Trish, out lovely server, made the experience here. She was so helpful, upbeat (before 8am!) and chatty. She was offering to help all of us in wheelchairs or with assistance. A really lovely start to the day.
For some reason...? The manager had a sign up 'Staff only' at the till side, so we couldn't go through for my kids to watch the planes, there were other people in there, he said they were already in that area when I put the sign up. Loads of us with kids not happy as he wasn't mopping or doing anything in particular in there, just closed it off! It had only two families in there, there was loads of places we could of been sitting at watching the planes during out wait for our holidays.
I ordered a cup of green tea and sat to work. David the attendant was kind and helped me with my questions, also help me connect to the airport wifi.
I always go downstairs to the cafe now as it’s the best service every time
David was very friendly and made an excellent latte with oat milk, but it’s ridiculous that plant-based milk is extra 90p! I paid £4.6 for a latte!
