   Stopped by the Golden Lion on the way back home and was treated to a lovely atmosphere and a great lunch! The staff were all lovely and the service was great for the table. The prices were also amazing considering the portions on the food. We will definitely be coming back again in the future!

   Omg when I say this place is a must for there food I’m not lying the chef Sean’s food is to die for we came in a week or so ago and ordered the gluten free curry and my mother had the chicken and mushroom pie when I say it was absolutely delicious I even told the barmaid to tell the chef for the 2nd time how Fantastic it was after the barmaid took our plates I stayed a little longer had another drink and as I was leaving. I saw the Sean the chef come out the kitchen and i told him again how lovely his food was I came back last week and was greeted by the exact same barmaid who served us prior to my last visit but this time I brought my 2 friends from Shropshire to try his food but unfortunately the kitchen was closed upon arrival as I came a little late in all honesty but we still stayed for drinks and told the lovely barmaid we will bring them back again soon to try his food I didn’t get the barmaids name but she had lots of tattoos very cheerful I’ll be back again soon for another visit

   Popped in for a last minute lunch 5 of us in total .Service was really good.Ordered meals which all came out together piping hot and it was delicious. 5 ☆ to Sean and Char .Also 40% off till Sunday well worth a visit

   Beautiful pub, clean and refreshing set on the outskirts of Bromsgrove. Service very attentive, food presented well and piping hot. Staff very good and caring! With constant fantastic customer service from start to finish. Grounds looked after very well, clean tidy and very inviting. The lion story board outside was outstanding and really showed character of the pub and its meaning.

   I visited The Lion to watch the FA cup game . I have to say what a refreshing change from the past few years . Great atmosphere great selection of drinks on offer for both myself and my other half. Nice and clean and friendly springs to mind. New management team seem to be turning this potential jewel of a pub around. We will definitely be back again.

   I tell you what, the new management have absolutely nailed it. Absolutely brilliant atmosphere, Everything they do isn’t for their own gain, it’s making the community get more involved and making family’s more welcome. I am very pleased with their progress and I hope you guys keep it up!
