Been here quite a few times since it opened, really impressive venue with beautiful surroundings and finished to what looks like a high standard. However, we were so disappointed after our latest visit. They had a Christmas market on so were obviously very busy. Waitress/manager who seated us was rude and snappy to begin with. There was quite a long wait for our drinks to arrive, again understandable with how busy they were. The main let down was the food. They had run out of our first choice, so second choice it was. Then overcooked steak and eggs arrived. £16.95 for a tiny piece of steak and 3 hard fried eggs (had specified medium rare for steak and RUNNY eggs) with a bit of greenery, not even a proper salad. We also ordered a waffle dish and that was so stodgy with tasteless toppings, I was almost sick whilst eating it. No one checked back or asked how the food was until we'd finished and plates were cleared (I used the word finished loosely, as all eggs were picked over/left on the plate, along with almost half of the waffle dish). We told the server we weren't happy, he said "sorry about that" and walked away! No one asked if we wanted another drink, or the bill and it cost over £35 for brunch for 2 people. Very disappointed with the service and the food, really doesn't seem to be half as good as it was this time last year. Severe lack of customer service too.

Lovely spot, great food, exceeds your expectations for sure. All staff were really warm and welcoming on a busy morning and the food (Eggs Royale/Moroccan Eggs) was well priced and tasty for the quality provided. Highly recommended.

We went for a walk and decided to pop in. Grabbed a kids meal as we weren’t too hungry and it was great. Larger was lovely and the little pods outside are very nice. Great spot. We will be back.

Had a delicious pizza at Arthur’s Café! The crust was perfectly cooked, the toppings were fresh and flavourful, and the portion was just right. The café had a welcoming atmosphere and friendly staff, making it a great spot for a relaxed meal. Highly recommend for anyone craving a tasty pizza!

A great place to visit whilst visiting family. They don't normally take bookings, but we have a vulnerable member of our family and they let us book a pod away from everyone, which was perfect. We took her dog with us and he was able to sit outside and have his dog ice cream.

Called in without booking for breakfast, lovely food, friendly staff and great outdoor seating area for the summer. Relaxed atmosphere, would recommend to others

Rude staff operating coffee machine. Asked what wanted, when said waiting to be seated, told in wrong place when stood by "wait here to be served" sign. Food did not appear to be cooked to order and bacon was still oinking. Pity as you can see from picture it would be nice if cooked. We were seated, served and out in 25 minutes. Food cold, could have been nice if cooked and warm. We will not return. Better value and nicer at Bennetts.

Beautiful location overlooking the fishing lake. We really enjoyed the warm roast vegetable salad and salmon salad. Good coffee too.
