Proper old fashioned pub. Friendly and helpful staff. The Bathams is very well kept. They have a good selection of fresh cobs and other pub snacks too. If the weather is reasonable you can sit outside the front and watch the world go by.
Great pub with good, friendly atmosphere. Excellent Bathams beers beautifully kept & good alternative offering. Good internal sitting areas plus heated areas to the front & rear. Highly recommend.
Not the usual Bathams establishment. Quite popular with all ages even on a Wednesday and Thursday night. Very pleasant to sit inside or out. Staff have always been chatty and friendly. Beer is always served well.
The King Arthur was nothing less than excellent in all fields! A fantastic pint of Bathams Mild or Bitter, top quality bar food, and great staff and traditional pub atmosphere! Well worth the railway journey from Stafford to meet up with my brother on his landmark birthday!
Nice place, friendly staff and locals. Some larger tables for big groups. Marked it down as some of the cups were filthy, one had lipstick all over it so I asked for a new one, only to have my drink poured into another dirty cup and handed to me with it all spilt over the side, lovely.
A very pleasant public house. Friendly staff and good quality beer, well kept. Only popped in for a quick drink after a walk with a friend and it was good to have the opportunity to relax in such convivial surroundings after the walk. Looking forward to my next visit.

Lovely bathams bitter and mild clean and modern with possibly the best staff i have ever come across in a pub,efficient,friendly,a credit to the landlady.
