This is honestly one of the strangest stores I’ve ever been to. Every normal store in the world allows you to try shoes with the outfit you’re buying, because your leg looks completely different in heels. But here they take the shoes away and only let you try them separately from the clothes. What’s the point of that? None at all. It feels like the staff are going out of their way to make the shopping experience difficult. I used to love this store, but now I feel sick even walking past it. The girl at the fitting room explained it to me as if I was trying to walk into her own kitchen in shoes, not a changing room in a clothing store. Completely unnecessary attitude. Please put a sign at the entrance stating your rules, so customers know from the beginning that you can’t put together a full look here and don’t waste their time.

had a really disappointing experience at Stradivarius, Westfield Stratford City. I went to return an item, and the staff member who said she was a manager refused to process my refund because I didn’t have the same device I used to pay with Apple Pay. I explained multiple times that it’s the same card, just on a different device, and even showed proof — but she was rude, argumentative, and raised her voice in front of other customers. After I insisted on speaking to the actual store manager, she finally called them, and they confirmed the refund could be processed immediately. Instead of apologising, she continued to argue. It was embarrassing and very poor customer service. Staff should be properly trained on Apple Pay and how to treat customers respectfully.

Went in to collect my online order, clicked the button in my email to let them know I was there but it came up with an error message. I asked an employee how to collect my order so she scanned my code and said it would take about 10-15 minutes to get. I'm not sure why it takes so long to pick up a parcel and bring it back but I waited around anyway. Then 20 minutes passed and it didn't look like anything was happening, no sign of anyone coming with my order or anyone even looking for it. So I went to the till and asked a different employee, she scanned my code again and said to wait 10 minutes. I said I'd already been waiting and nobody was doing anything but she couldn't help as she could not leave the till. She said I could shop around while waiting. I don't think anything came of that, so I went back to the original employee and asked for an update. She then went to the back, got my parcel, and came back. I'm not sure why that couldn't have happened in the first place. It was a simple order collection, don't know why it had to take so long and be so complicated with me chasing it so many times?

This is a review for the Westfield Stratford location and not the brand itself. But my experience at the Stratford location has been absolutely and horrendously daft and comical. I bought a sale item - a cardigan for GBP15.99, that I decided to return. I went back to the store with the receipt and the item still intact with the tags and well within the 30 day return window. Sounds simple enough right? Nope! I'm told at the checkout (the only time you can have a human help you is when you're paying cash or returning something otherwise you're left to fend for yourself btw with the self checkout bins) that they CANNOT refund me because the item code on the receipt does not match the item code on the label on the inside of the cardigan. Okay? But why is that my problem? I dropped the thing in the bin, paid for it first, upon which it releases the security tag upon which a receipt is printed in the end so at what point would I care to know a bunch of codes need to match? That sounded like a major store oversight to me, perhaps someone stuck the wrong security tag on it whatever - I don't care, I just want my refund and am presenting the receipt I was given. The "manager" was called out, a South Asian lady who seemed to care even less and looked bothered. With 3 days left to go on my visit to London before I go back home to the US, I had a huge time crunch - Stratford is 15 miles away from where I was actually staying but I was nonetheless asked to EMAIL customer service, repeat the entire problem to them and then go back to the store with some code they need to be able to issue the refund. Which begs the question what the point of being a manager is in these situations. I used to work retail not that long ago and I recall management having the discretion to correct or override something when it's clearly a store problem. This was not the case here. She was as clueless, pointless and as helpless as her sales assistant on the checkout. I end up going all the way back with the goods, carried it there that day for no reason at all in the blazing heat and I email Stradivarius customer service via Whatsapp taking the time to explain the entire situation. They respond promptly the next morning with an email for me to present to the same store telling them to issue me the refund. The nice lady on the Whatsapp even asked me to show them my communication with her on Whatsapp incase I have more issues. Well, it's almost like she knew how unhelpful they might be, the same sales assistant is there from the day before and she says her manager is out on lunch. It's 11:50am, early lunch if you ask me but ok I get it, breaks are taken in shifts I suppose and she asks me to come back in 20 mins. I go back in 30 mins giving them an extra 10 for safety lmao. Apparently the manager isn't yet there but this time, I wasn't leaving. I was ready to stand there all day and become a visible "problem" to them until I got my refund because this was just getting really damn ridiculous. As if she read my mind, what does the sales assistant do? She asks me for the receipt and says "okay, I'm just going to give you a refund based on the receipt anyway" and proceeds to issue me a refund in 20 seconds. Sorry, what? Dumbfounded I let customer service know what had just happened - she requested an update to make sure I got the refund and I love that she was standing by btw - and even she was flabbergasted. She said I was absolutely right, and that I should have been given the refund when I first got there instead of wasting my time like this. Time during my last 72 hours in London I will never get back. This has given me such a shitty taste that I don't ever want to visit Westfield Stratford again (I'm a Brit living overseas so I visit London often). Which is a shame but it's indicative of the level of intelligence let alone customer service that simply does not exist. Huge shame and I hope Stradivarius Customer Service does something about this store and its individuals.

So upset. Bought my sister a dress from here for £30 and the condition is absolutely HORRENDOUS. I could barely get to the dress in the shop because of the layout so I made sure it was the right size and went to the checkout. I guess the joke is on me for not checking the condition before buying it but realistically I shouldn’t have to.

The worst customer service I have ever received from the Manager at Westfield Stratford. He was rude, not understanding, didn’t want to help me and left me upset. I will be following this up with Head Office on Monday. He shouldn’t be a manager as he doesn’t have any compassion or people skills. Totally let the whole Stradivarius name down in my opinion. Don’t visit this store!!!! He told me the store only opened a couple of days ago? After reading the comments below…was he lying? I tried calling the store all day on Thursday (and showed him my phone and how many times I dialled the store) ahead of my visit today and he said as the store only opened a couple of days ago the land line was not working ….I’m so confused by everything he told me and his attitude was rude and uncompassionate. My 73 year old mother was with me and we were both dumb founded and shocked at his attitude. We didn’t come to a resolve and he appeared to be happy to dismiss me and let me leave the store without anything being rectified. I look forward to taking this matter to Head Office on Monday.

AWFUL CUSTOMER SERVICE! Was laughed in the face by 2 of the staff members after asking if they could search something up for me (which they clearly didn’t want to do) Was going to ask to speak to the manager to feedback but seemed so disorganised with staff that I didn’t and had to unfortunately pass it on to a member of staff who seemed very new (and the nicest one in there). will not be returning to this store. Very rude.

The store is a mess and it takes 30+ mins to get to the front of a queue of 4 customers. There are piles of random clothes everywhere and if you dare ask a member of staff for something they tell you off for even suggesting they should know where anything is - they just point to piles of clothes and shrug. No one who works there seems to know what they’re doing at all except the girl with the headscarf who is constantly being called to help her colleagues while serving customers herself. She is a fantastic asset to your brand and always has a positive attitude but sadly I will never be coming back. Best of luck to her.

I love the accessories collection here. Clothing is also great. Its quite reasonable and should usually visit during weekends as they have more offers. This store is located inside Westfield mall. Worth visiting once to check out their latest accessories collection.
