   I had a very bad experience today at the River Island Stratford Westfield branch. The staff were unprofessional, as many other customers in their review have also mentioned, but the manager was even worse. I went to return a product, and without giving me any chance to explain, she claimed that the product had been used, which is not true. It was really disappointing and unprofessional behavior. I asked her to verify this and even called her through her staff, but she did not came to me. Overall, it was a very frustrating experience.

   I had a very disappointing experience at this clothing shop yesterday. The staff were unprofessional. They were laughing and chatting amongst themselves while serving me and even during the payment process. This behavior made me feel ignored and humiliated as a customer. A shop should treat people with respect, but unfortunately, that was not the case here.

   I like River Island, but the main manager was very rude (I think his name is Brian but he intentionally didn’t want to disclose) So, I suggest you guys from the management discuss his role in detail. Otherwise, happy to change to 5 stars

   I had a very bad experience yesterday in the store, the whole staff was very unprofessionaland not helping at all. When paying for the jacket, they were moving very slow, not serious, i said hi she asked do you want a bag? Is it customer service? She couldn’t fit the jacket in the bag as she tried a few times, very slow and joking around with her colleague. Giving cash, she didn’t gave the change 90p, which are my money, legally you have to give even 1p, if i don’t take is my choice or taking it. When explaining she didn’t gave me the change, they told me they can’t give me the change anymore, they were confused and acting dumb. Needed to ask for my change ? Never ever coming back again, and would not recommend to no one coming here for sure. There was a manager walking around with some paper, she didnt approached to ask what happened, she just looked and went very far away from us. Very unprofessional, i think all the stuff should be changed and motivated, or put the self check-out, it will be more efficient for sure. Not friendly at all, not professional, just like they are somewhere in the street , very awful.

   Staff incredibly pushy about signing up for an account even when I said no. Still made me sign up with my email just to get a receipt?? which I have since found auto enrolls me to a marketing email. This Is what I wanted to avoid and was done without my consent. I absolutely will never go back, if they are this disrespectful to customers.

   Bought a boot in october 2022 and guess what its sole got broken in March this year, so the life was 4 months, when i went to store they said they Don't refund or exchange the product. Pathetic service pathetic products. I don't recommend anybody to buy anything from this store and Riverisland

   I would like to report racism, me, my friend and her mum went to river island and they didn’t let my friends mum try on the trousers because her skin colour was darker than everyone else’s and let the white people go in without question. They also kept giving my friends mum dirty looks, please resolve this problem before the police gets involved. Thank you.

   I'm not sure if it's the color of our skin but wow! I tried to get help for my wife in the mall location and it was terrible! The sales associates all walked right through me. Then after we helped ourselves to what we wanted the casher was worst! We said good day she threw the things we selected aside, while clicking her gum, saying only the price ( which was already on the items). My wife was not pleased. She simply turned around and left without getting all of the nice pieces we had found. Very rude! All of them in this location!
