   Really great. Popped in for a cooked breakfast and coffee based on reviews and I wasn't disappointed. Lovely atmosphere - a proper pub, very friendly publicans and the food was fresh with good quality ingredients and a really nice latte. For £7.39 (latte and small cooked breakfast) I thought it was excellent value for money and I would be a regular if I lived closer. Thank you for the nicest cooked breakfast I've had in a long time.

   I personally have never found a town centre pub so empty at half 8 on a Friday night 3 weekends before Christmas. Two people at the bar when we arrived. Staff were friendly enough. It seemed that circa 9pm it was about to liven-up as a DJ arrived and set up and the atmosphere changed ...coloured lights ..music and a few more customers came in as we left. The bouncer did say to us it got busy Friday and Saturday and was open until 1am. They have a weird policy...no head covering or hats after 9pm...why not just no hats or head coverings full stop. 9pm seems to be the start of things but sadly we didn't hang around to see.

   Such a great atmosphere, with 80s,90s music being played loud at night . Drinks a reasonable price too. In the day they serve food but not tried yet . Inside basically a pub nothing special but at night comes alive with the music

   Just finished our breakfast which was served nice and hot with good service. The only criticism I've got, no black pudding which should have been on our meal. The excuse that the supplier had not left any on the last delivery, no alternative offered no real apologies.

   Rather surprisingly decent food in the day time, well worth a visit if you're in town and want the most legit plowmans around! the selection of burgers is good too. I like the swan in the daytime quite a lot
