Travelled to The Watermill as a convenient pub for a small family get together of six people for lunch. Stands on a large car park with ample disabled spaces near the entrance. Lovely atmosphere from doorway to seating enhanced by the friendly and efficient staff. Normally difficult to assess atmosphere at lunchtime but it immediately felt homely and relaxed. Menu was varied and extensive with a range of prices to suit most pockets, certainly not overpriced for the quality fayre we enjoyed. We were having a bit of a catch up so hung around a while not really drinking because three of us were driving. The staff were understanding and unobtrusive and left us to it. One word of warning, the Sherry Trifle Cheesecake was scrumptious, only good manners prevented a second helping. No hesitation in recommending a visit to this establishment.

Probably the nicest pub in Kidderminster in terms of decor and modern atmosphere made to look old.....well presented and not far from the town centre. There is a car park. Service was a bit slow at the bar. Bar staff all seemed busy doing something but only one serving which resulted in queues. They do offer an option to order from your table with a 10% discount but our table didn't have a number on it. Noticed the next day the number was on the condiments boxes we assumed but some tables didn't have these boxes on them. The breakfast option seemed reasonable, however, despite it arriving at the table with a comment "sorry for the delay (there wasn't a delay!) all cooked fresh for you" the sausages where 'wrinkled' like they had been standing for a while and using my table knife it was difficult to cut in to them. The skins were tough to eat so much so I had to mention it to the table clearer. The bacon was hard to and difficult to cut too. There was also an issue with any hot drinks requiring hot milk as the coffee machine wasn't working on both days we were there. A lot of people didn't set drinks of choice as a result if it. Overall it's definitely the best place we found in Kidderminster that we found and ideal if you're staying in the adjacent Travelodge.

A lovely time spent at The Watermill incorporated with our excursion to the Safari and Theme Park! Perfectly located with our stay at The Travelodge which was directly opposite! They say a place is considered great when it has good hospitality, and we can without a doubt say we had outstanding hosting, namely Sam and Lexi who demonstrated levels of impartial hospitality any employer of any establishment would desire, especially with them unknowingly having in their presence silver award winner Gideon Nash Director of Nature Care representing St Vincent and The Grenadines from the Chelsea Flower Show 2025! Top marks all the way for Sam and Lexi for making our trip more than pleasurable! We definitely recommend The Watermill to anyone visiting the area! 10 out of 10!!!!

We celebrated our workβs Christmas party in a pub and found the staff to be very helpful and friendly, and nothing too much trouble for them. Food was good. Served in good time. We definitely will be back to try the normal menu.

A bit of a dry roast (though I could've asked for more gravy) but some redemption in the huge Yorkshire pudding, the fantastic crown dessert and the relatively (for late 2022) low price. Wouldn't actively revisit but wouldn't put people off coming here either.

Had an excellent lunch today with the most friendly and attentive serving staff in a beautiful building and convenient location. The food was delicious, and the service was second to none. Highly recommended! Special thanks to Dani, Emma and Sonya for making today's experience a memorable one!

Called here for a drink plenty of beers to choose from ,a lovely new build which incorporates the watermill ,inside all the original wood has been used to good effect .I didn't eat there but the place was buzzing and plenty were eating so presume food is good There's a play area for the kids outside which was keeping them occupied I enjoyed my pint sat at the side of the canal

A Marston's pub so a good choice of draught Ales, though wines were limited Good, well cooked pub classics, and no waiting ! Staff were very friendly and all were wearing masks. Definitely a step above the normal in being Covid safe and careful - drinks served on tray, Condiments and cutlery too. Portions were large and to beat everything 2 for 1 on meals meant excellent value Best to book at weekends, it was very busy when we went on a Friday evening. November 26th update - 2 weeks later. Totally different. All covid precautions have been dropped. Service was poor. My dessert (apple pie) was lukewarm. Very disappointing.
