    I visited the New Look store at Lakeside on 13th November, and unfortunately I had a very upsetting experience with a staff member named Charly. From my perspective, her attitude toward me felt rude, dismissive, and extremely unprofessional. As a customer, I approached looking for help, but instead of assisting me, she was standing around chatting and gave no indication that she intended to help. I felt ignored and unsupported at a time when I genuinely needed assistance, and it left me feeling uncomfortable and unwelcome. Some of her behaviour also came across to me as biased, which was especially hurtful. Regardless of intent, no customer should be made to feel that way. I hope management at this branch takes customer concerns seriously and provides appropriate training so staff are attentive, respectful, and professional.

    Poor interaction with one of your elder female staff member wearing glasses on cashier. She firstly did not greet me and saw I had an online order to return and huffed after I had waited at least 5 mins for her to continue chatting and smiling with her previous customer.She straight away said to me right if you have an online order check your email it will tell you we have a drop off box so no need to wait next time.. her whole interaction made me uncomfortable and I felt like she was annoyed at me for not knowing that this store has a drop off box... I rarely do returns so didn't know they had that available..but seeing as I was already at the till..she could've just processed it without seeming so rude.. please teach your staff better customer service!.its apparent from many reviews I have read that I am not the only one that has been mistreated.

    Not even worthy of 1 star. Appalling customer service. Needed to try clothes on and found a rail across Fitting room entrance. Asked the assistant if we could try on to be told the fitting rooms are closed at 20:30 for a 21:00 store closing time to tidy up supposedly. We questioned this and got attitude from the staff member. Staff on the till wasn't any better, no interaction and when we were told to enter an email address for the receipt and we asked for a paper copy as the clothes hadn't been tried on the huffing and puffing was hilarious.

    Pushed to have an email receipt, which is fine, but when I spell it for you, you don’t check it (unlike other stores) get it wrong, and when it doesn’t arrive, act like it’s my issue and tell me there’s nothing you can do and I can’t then get a receipt, I’ll stick to other shops.

    Absolutely awful experience in New Look Lakeside! I followed this new system where you generate a QR code online and hand over the items for online returns in store. The lady did not scan my items correctly because on the portal it states that I am still due to return the items!! I tried calling their store multiple times on different days but no one picks up, I tried using their chat but I keep getting redirected to a chatbot instead of an actual person, I emailed them but received no response & I'm unable to visit their store because of work! I've lost £48 over this and they are doing nothing to help. They can literally check their CCTV to see that I have given the items for a refund but I'm receiving no help from them whatsoever. All of this because of their new horrible online return system and the workers not processing the refunds correctly! I would advise to never shop there again,

    Every time I go in there the shop is a mess, the sale is always unshoppable & the fitting rooms close over 1 hour before the shop itself closes. Last visit I was told that they had several staff off sick or on holiday & didn’t have any extra staff to cover. There were 15 people in the queue ahead of me when I got there & only 1 man serving, he was ordering something for a customer. One of the people waiting shouted “can you get someone to jump on tills please this is ridiculous” at the same time someone was coming over to the tills, it always seems massively understaffed. Wide fit shoes don’t have many options & the kids section seems to have taken over, there are no larger sizes or maternity options in this store which is a shame as it would easily sell well there. I won’t be heading there anytime soon if I can help it.
