Had a lovely pre-Christmas lunch here and was very pleased with the quality of the food. There was a nice atmosphere in the cafe too.
Very welcoming, background music (Christmas!) at a good level. Calm atmosphere. Decent pot of tea and when tap water requested a chilled bottle with glasses was provided. A good touch. Excellent cheese scone. Not cheap but very cheesy so worth it and comes with cream cheese too. Recommended.
Had a lovely Saturday morning breakfast at honey and fig. Beautiful food and a lovely setting. Would highly recommend.
Visited this lovely cafe a few times now and each time the food has been delicious. Inside it has a nice cosy atmosphere and the staff are really pleasant. If you're ever in Retford, this is the place to go for a bite to eat.
My lovely boyfriend brought me here after a particularly challenging morning. The girls were lovely. I liked the atmosphere and the food was perfect. I was really ready for it and they didn’t disappoint. Highly recommended and punching well above its weight this food is. You wouldn’t expect something this good in a place so small really
Waited 20 minutes for a menu, whilst waitresses were not busy. So I left. Suspect it was because I was a single customer. The food looked good would have loved to try it.
This is without doubt the best coffee shop I've ever been in. The staff are absolutely brilliant! They are kind ,friendly and very attentive. You will not find a better place to enjoy your coffee.To Alison and all of the lovely girls, thank you for making the days so much better!!
The best cafe in Retford without a shadow of a doubt. All the staff are talented and very friendly. The coffee is always of superb quality as is the food, which is actually very well priced all things considered. The interior is very modern with chiq panelling and cushioned benches underneath stylish industrial lighting and air conditioning! The footfall that H&F gets whilst operating within 100 yards of at least 4 other cafes is a testament to how unique and brilliant the place is and it is definitely worth visiting if you're in Retford.
Quite charming, Welcoming, friendly atmosphere & quick service. Is full most of the time so you're in for a wait. I've been a hand full of times with my partner and overall the food is good, although the pancakes were dry.
