Food was absolutely horror, I’ve dined at the Morrisons cafe for around 14 years and I just had my first meal from there in a year and a half. I ordered a standard English breakfast using the 2 for 1 deal but I don’t think the meal was even worth £5. The staff were pretty much non existent, meal was dry, cold and lacked all flavour. Perhaps they got new recipes? I believe the mushrooms used to be prepared with butter and had a rich flavour but now when I chew into it, it lack all flavour and was cold. We ate one bite of the bacon and left it due to it being cold and far too soft and rubbery. The poached egg was decent but pretty much everything else was awful. The mocha that day tasted bitter along with the latte and the coco powder can was filled with some kind of brown granulated sugar? The tomato and basil soup was okay at best as it lacked any real flavour and tasted like a year 3 child made it in cooking club. All in all I would say that the managers need to eat this food and then hopefully they will see what a waste of resources the cafe really is. **update** I revisited today to give the benefit of the doubt as I do remember the nostalgic memories when this cafe used to be half decent. The staff are lazy, unwilling to refill the milk even when asked twice by myself and another elderly customer. £30+ for a three person meal when the portion sizes are small for what you pay, the food is low quality and staff don’t even take food from your table after you’ve finished. Staff are just here to take orders and that’s it? Last year I rated service two stars, this years it’s 1. This places needs improvement.

Good store, salad bar was clean and salad fresh. I have just seen they have an orange juice machine this impressed me. I was disappointed that I couldn’t get car wash equipment for our work vans but all in all a good experience.

Served very quickly (during a quiet period). Nice decor. Cutlery a lucky dip of cleanliness, as seems to be common in supermarket cafes, so you might need to wipe them yourself. Not fresh milk for drinks, which is a shame considering there's a whole aisle full of the stuff in the same building. Overall not too bad, would return.

We waited an hour for Christmas lunch. When it arrived the meal was cold. The gravy set in the dish with a thick skin. The Brussels sprouts and stuffing very hard and cold. So all in all inedible. I got a refund without eating any more. The staff were nice enough but run off their feet. More staff is certainly needed at this busy time of year. We won't return

Popped in for a breakfast, not a patch on what it used to be in quality, quantity and price. Not again, better local cafe's.

Visited 6/6/22 When asked how long is the wait for food (at this point I had waited 45min for one meal), the woman replied, "are you in a rush?" Seriously... Waiting 45min isn't exactly being "in a rush"! Perhaps acknowledge the long wait and just apologise. Slow service, poorly ran and they seem to have little insight into the issues they're having. Previous visit: Since introducing the new "Brew" barista area its made service really slow and appears to have made staff even more stressed. Today only one poor girl running between serving customers on the till, working on the barista area and also trying to serve food! Honestly the cafe needs more staff or a better system, since the queue to be served is long, the time to get a coffee is long (with customers served out of sync), being served food is a long wait and the poor cafe staff just seemed stress (with customers complaining and having to juggle multiple jobs). I would've given 1* but I feel sorry for the staff here.

Had a vegan breakfast here, as there was a half price great deal. I ordered on the self ordering machine, but there was no assistance afterwards in terms of how to collect drinks and if food was being prepared. And food did take a while to arrive, but was satisfactory, nothing special, mushroom was watery. But have to say probably the best cafe in supermarket chains

Nice enough breakfast with a short wait. Full English was about £5.50 so you get what you pay for. All hot, friendly staff. Basically the same as any other morrisons cafe.
